I thought this might help in the post-fight rankings updates:
Bantamweight Top 10 -- 4 135lb. Fights on the Card: Pickett/Menjivar, Cariaso/Barao, Wineland/Stone, and of course Jorgensen/Cruz
Lightweight Top 10 -- 6 155lb. Fights on the Card: Castillo/Kerr, Varner/Roller, Quan/Downes, Lamas/Alcantra, Shalorus/Palaszewski, Cerrone/Horodecki and Pettis/Henderson
No featherweights go tonight -- something I only realized in writing this.
Best Pound for Pound -- Cruz (#14), Henderson (#31), Jorgensen (#51) and Pettis (#60) are already on there; maybe we'll have some new visitors to the party as well.
2010 Fights of the Year -- I see a couple candidates in there already with Cerrone/Horodecki, Jorgensen/Cruz, Varner/Roller perhaps . . . we'll see.
Then we've got the all-timers -- Greatest Lightweight Fights, Greatest Bantamweight Fights, Greatest KOs and Subs, and the Greatest Fights of All Time; one can only dare to dream.
Farewell to World Extreme Cagefighting. Let's see how the night turns out.
