This card will be live and free to watch tomorrow morning on http://www.bravefights.com/ .
This has been a pretty neat story to follow over the last year. One of the prince's of Bahrain Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa watched Hamza Kooheji win at Desert Force in Bahrain and became a big MMA fan. He then started up a Bahraini national team with the help of the Indian commission AIMMAA and Super Fight League standout and Bahraini local Mohammed Shahid. He held several tournaments to see who he was going to start his team with and send to Vegas for the IMMAF worlds. Then he hired the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Frankie Edgar, Alex Soto and ex UFC star Pete Williams to come help train his team.
Then after the first IMMAF tourney he hired John Kavanagh (Connor Mcgregors coach) Jose Torres (Titan FC champ) Frans Mlambo (IMMAF gold medalist) and James Gallagher (Bellator contender) to promote his team and come train at his new gym. Now after a year he is starting up what most likely will be the top org. in the Middle East. This is the first of 3 planned events, next event will be in December in Bahrain and then they just announced the 3rd event will be in Ireland at the begining of the year.
On this card we have
Ex Desert Force Champ: Abdul Kareem Selwady
Aspera FC champ: Tiago Viera
BJJ Superstar: Richie Martinez
Ex UFC fighter: Masio Fullen
IMMAF Gold medalist: Frans Mlambo
and plenty more with decent records
This event should have some awesome production value with all the money im assuming got pumped into it. well known announcer Cyrus Fees will be joined by Jose Torres for commentary.
