Ironically, Rosholt's most impressive striking performance in the UFC ended up in him getting knocked the **** out by Oleksiy Oliynyk. I feel like after that he became afraid to use his striking and reverted back to his wrestling. I think it's ****** up he got cut but having seen him fight in person twice I can honestly say I won't miss him being in the UFC.

I am glad Rosholt is gone. He was one of the most boring fighters in the UFC. He would LnP his opponents and never do more than just enough to win. UFC has been telling fighters, most fans realize it, simply getting your hand raised in not enough. It's enough to collect a paycheck but it's not enough to matter in this sport. In just the UFC you are competing with 500 or more other fighters for attention. At this point Rosholt was never going a title run so he was doing little more than taking card space away from more exciting fighters. I'm sure 99% of fans probably never knew he was in the UFC despite him fighting there 8 times and the ones who knew of him just know him as that boring guy.

Norman Parke has been released (source): a lot of solid fighters at 155 have been cut recently.

Personally, I see Parke ending up in either Cage Warriors or BAMMA. I have my doubts that Parke would want to fight in the States again if it wasn't under the UFC banner. Unless Bellator throws a ton of cash at him, I see Parke pulling a Barnatt and waiting it out until the UFC offers him another chance.

Another UK fighter was released today; Mike Wilkinson. I kind of feel for the guy, iirc all of his fights he was the underdog and still had a 2-2 record. Was never going to make an impact, but still.

Just noticed that Piotr Hallmann is fighting at Slava Republic 1 in late April, so he must have been cut recently. He was on a losing streak and had a losing record in the UFC, but he was fighting some really tough opponents.

Damon Jackson has been cut. He didn't lose his last two fights but went 0-1-1(1 NC) and may be the first person to do that in the UFC.
