Danny Castillo huh.. After dropping four straight I guess it should be expected. It's just jarring because he's been with Zuffa since 08. Mike Pierce is probably the most surprising.

Sucks for Castillo although he did lose a lot of fights. Pierce is a weird one but they never seemed to care much for him. Wish Erokhin would have dropped to 205 and gotten another shot but his wrestling was pretty non-existent so he might be better off outside the UFC.

damn it sucks for Pierce and Castillo both were fighting for contention not to long ago and now they´ve fallen into obscurity (dramatic music plays), I see Danny Castillo picking up a Bellator contract but I don´t think they´ll go for PIerce maybe WSOF?

Wrozek put on one of the best fights on the last card he was on and lost a split decision that many believe he won. Keep on paying Bruce Leroy though.

Off the top of my head I couldn't tell you the weight classes of any of these guys released except for Pierce and Castillo.

Most of the cuts are from light and welterweight which are the two most heavily populated divisions.

Every time they try to trim down the roster they get a new batch of injury replacements and TUF contestants to bloat things back up again.
