Rumored main event for UFC 197 in Vegas. RDA is a beast, but I'm not gonna start picking against Conor now.

My thought is obvious, but I refuse to talk about how I think one fighter will murder the other, because then the other guy makes me seem like an ******* after. Nope.

Anyone know if Conor has to vacate the FW title? I know Conor said there was no way he's vacating any belt and Dana said initially if he went to LW that he would have to give up the 145 belt. Just curious who got their way.

Wow...I cannot see McGregor winning this. If he does, he really is the McGOAT though.

Can see it going either way. Kinda think McGregor needs an early finish to win though. Longer it goes, the more I see RDA's adaptability beating McGregor.

I think Raphael Dos Anjos is the greatest Lightweight we've ever seen, We are talking about a guy with more horsepower than Abel Trujillo and more cardio than Nate Diaz. He's technically, quite excellent. He's very durable, his fight with Tibau was one of the best showcases of a chin I've ever seen in a fight. He's fast, he's very physically strong, he's a great grappler with his background being a jiu jitsu blackbelt despite the fact the highlight of his career has been his vicious striking. He's explosive, well balanced, great takedowns, ground and pound, grappling. Dos Anjos is a machine and the only person I can see beating him is Khabib who's one of the most technically excellent fighters in all of MMA in his few fields of expertise and he was good enough at imposing them to win against Dos Anjos, can Conor do that? I'm really not sure. Conor who will be smaller and probably give up a slight speed advantage? Will he hit harder than Dos Anjos? I don't think so again.

Honestly there was a time I would of said Aldo was better than Dos Anjos, I think that goes for a lot of us. I'm not sure if I am just like a lot of people who don't want to give McGregor his paid dues but I can't envision him winning this. Dos Anjos ran through Nate Diaz, Ben Henderson, Donald Cerrone, and Anthony Pettis. He did not lose a round. Am I not giving McGregor his paid dues by doubting his chances, or am I just someone who see's the greatness beyond the lack of hype in ol' Frankenstein.

My guess is Frankie and Aldo fight for the "interim" FW Belt and if Connor manages to beat RDA he vacates the the real FW belt. If he losses he goes back and fights the winner of Edgar/Aldo 2

I'm sure there won't be any interim title. Conor has said he has every intention of fighting Frankie. Btw all the ******** that Frankie's manager is talking is bogus. Frankie is a class act so why is he dealing with that lying *************. Back to business.

I have so much respect for Conor right now. Of all his potential fights, this was his toughest challenge. I thought maybe a tune-up fight for 155, but going at the champ is ballsy.

Kinda surprised they're doing this now. What's going to end up being on UFC 200 after this?
