Salo, haha I have always avoided watching this but I feel like if you enjoyed it you'd probably like Alejandro Jodorowsky movies, have you seen Santa Sangre or Holy Mountain?

I didn't like Salo as I find it to be one of the extreme movies. The director was murdered soon afterwards.
I like the 80s movies the best.

I've seen Ran, The Name of the Rose, Wings of Desire, The Vanishing aka Spoorloos, Possession, Time of the Gypsies, Short Film about Killing, Short Film about Love, Fitzcarraldo off the list all fantastic. Fanny and Alexander, Tampopo and a few others have been on my watch list.

If you guys want something a little better done, try I Saw the Devil. I'm sure most have seen it, but it's a brilliant story about vengeance and how you will just destroy yourself when you seek it.

I just watched the original VHS widescreen directors cut unreleased on DVD far as I can tell.

I have not, will definitely look it up. I haven't been watching much movies lately, let alone television shows that are new. I find myself re-watching stuff I've already watched. It's strange.
