Just like with Bertalucci, Pasolini was someone that was messed up and liked to put that in his movies. The former being more subtle about it, though.

I was tempted to vote for "The Muppets Christmas Carol" but in the end I simply had to pick "The Man Who Would Be King". Absolute gem of a film and doesn't seem to get the level of recognition it deserves. Partly because of all the other great films Sir Michael Caine and Sir Sean Connery have also starred in seem to overshadow it.

Never heard of Birthgap. I'm going to watch it.
I've been hearing about the Population bomb for a few years now. Japan and Korea are some of the worst in population decline. I've heard people mention that robots can take over for the labor shortage. The problem I see with that is will they contribute to the social nets? I couldn't see that happening unless they tax the labor or the robots and I bet that would be tricky.
