So, ex-UFC Alexandre "Baixinho" Barros (a 100% here on Tap), lost a very close decision to the always tough Julian Jabbá... I personaly think he won that fight, but Jabbá ended up stealing some rounds with takedowns.
Arthur "Gogó" Cesar is the new LHW champ. The belt was vacated by Francimar "Bodão" Barroso when he signed with the UFC. Cesar, despite showing some pretty bad striking, was very dangerous on the ground, and managed to get Sapinho to the ground in key moments of the fight. Sixel, who just lost the bout for the Bitetti Combat LHW belt less than two months ago, lost another belt tonight.
The main event was pretty bad, Diniz is a very patient counter striker and Melo knew it was dangerous to trade punches with him. So apart for some very brief exchanges (mainly in R2), this was an intense staring contest. Melo actually almost upset Diniz with a very deep RNC on 2nd round and was the one closer to finish the fight. But Diniz did enough to get the 1st and 3rd rounds and defended his belt once again.
Those two first fights happened before the live transmission, so I'll get those results tomorrow.
