He took the fight on 10 days notice. Badazzzzzz. 22 wins with 18 knockouts? Jesus. Has he fought anyone good?

Felipe Froes, Deivison Ribeiro and Fabiano Nogueira are pretty decent wins. Froes had alot of hype behind him, as did Nogueira. Ribeiro has been having success in America lately. Though Andrade crushes alot of cans he's pretty solid. Not sure how he stacks against the Russian though.

yeah, Froes and Nogueira are legit wins... but he beat Deivison Ribeiro ages ago, it was his first pro fight and only the second pro fight by Ribeiro.  I'm still skeptic about him, but he sure has really heavy hands.

Andre Dida is making his return to MMA and kickboxing.

Was it ever found out for sure if it was Dida that punched Chael on TUF? Supposedly he got banned from UFC and that's part of why Wandy still hasn't signed on for the fight, not sure how much truth there is to it though.

XFC is back with their third international event. I've been really impressed by them so far. Great event with legit talent on every card from numerous South American countries. Not to mention the tourneys.

Augusto "Tanquinho" Mendes, one of the best BJJ practitioners in the world, will make his pro MMA debut in April against Stacey Anderson (0-0). Mendes trains with Ben Henderson at MMA Lab.

So, a brazzo summary for this saturday:

- Marcos "Babuíno" dos Santos TKO'd João Paulo Rodrigues, AKA "the only guy who beat Barão ever", in a pretty close and fun bout.

- in the same event, 3-times world BJJ champion Celsinho Venicius easily subbed a fighter making his pro-debut. That guy will be a force in MMA, no doubt. It's a shame he fought some random guy, but he also called his original opponent Junior "Hellboy" Ribeiro a ***** for pulling out of the bout.

- Both Erick Silva's brothers Bruno and Gabriel fought and won their bouts in Jungle Fight. Even though it was the harder fight, I still think Gabito is the better of the two.

- After dominating and almost KOing Jonas BIlharinho on the 1st round, Mario Israel (which I would bet everything would be the next brazilian UFC fighter prior to tonight) lost his belt in a split decision. I didn't watch the last two rounds (WSOF was on), but after a great first round I'm pretty damn surprised  he lost that fight.

- Somehow (didn't watch that one either) my favourite to win the XFC Middleweight GP Wendres Godzilla lost his bout and is out, now my bet to win the whole thing is Thiago Rela, who has a very slick and aggressive BJJ and actually trains with Demian Maia.

- Allan "Puro Osso" Nascimento vs. Matias Vasquez was awesome, definetly the fight of the evening in brazilian's events, and I recommed that to anyone.

- As expected, Luis "Sapo" Santos dominated Alfredo Morales in an one-sided beatdown. Morales was desfigured after the bout. But the highlight was that amazing front kick KO. Seriously, check that one out. It was brutal.

- After being cut by the UFC, Ronny Markes just signed with WSOF. Plans to debut in July.

- Fabrício Werdum just released his own line of beers: Vai Cavalo Pale Ale. yeah, for real.

HOLY **** THAT ONE WERDUM TIME BEER IS LIKE $13 'MURICAN. I now understand why everyone in Brazil has to rob and steal, AM I RITE?
