Belfort 2nd round T/KO.  After an extended feeling out process.

But I don't think this fight is gonna happen.

Isn't he going to be out until late 2013? Belfort wants to stay active, but dream fight.

I seriously don't think that Vitor deserves to be put against another top contender after he demolished the last two guys that would get a shot if he got past them AND did the UFC a solid being a sacrificial lambs to Jon Jones, but man, I'd love to see this fight!!!

(Plus, I don't think Vitor has anything for Anderson Silva, TRT or no TRT).

Give Vitor a shot against Anderson and if he loses that would be a great matchup to make afterwards.

Gegard is awesome, but the facts are he fought injured against a no named LHW and jabbed him to win a boring decision. A healthy Mousasi probably would have finished the fight. I don't think he's on Vitor's level, not to mention Vitor deserves a title shot again, TRT or NOT... he's beaten two guys decisively that would have gotten a title shot if they had won.

Belfort vs Silva makes sense for a lot of reasons: Make the fight happen in Brazil, it's a rematch of a devastating KO but Vitor is on an awesome fun. I think it sells lots of PPVs and it's the biggest fight Brazil would see yet.... if Dana White wants his soccer stadium fight, this is the one to make.

I think Vitor's done enough to warrant a title shot. Mousasi really needs to make up his mind about which weight class he wants to fight. He can't be switching weight classes regularly if he wants a title shot. I think he should go back to MW and stay there.

Vitor may deserve another title shot but I am not enthused if he gets it.  Silva proved Vitor is not that tough a challenge.  I would be more interested in Vitor vs. Gegard.  That would make an entertaining battle.

They shouldn't give him Anderson right away. He should have at least a 3 fight winning streak to hype it up a bit more.

His Strikeforce career should be taken into consideration, but he is a win or 2 away. But if they were to give Vitor to Mousasi and Mousasi wins, I say give him Anderson.

There's history between Belfort and Mousasi as they were looking to fight at Affliction 3.

If this fight ever happens, I would pick Belfort just judging by his last 2 performances.

Vitor deserves a title shot. After that a fight with Mousasi would be awesome.

This handy thing on the right side indicates that I've never once picked against Mousasi, and I've never once picked Vitor. Heh.

Despite my history I'm not sure who I'd pick if they fought.

With how Vitor's been lately it's hard to pick against him but Mousasi has only lost to guys who can take him down and I don't think Vitor can.

When Gegard Mousasi is on his game, he is a smaller version of Fedor Emelianenko. If an uncompromised Gegard Mousasi at his best shows up against the Vitor Belfort of recent, I would pick Mousasi to win.

Gegard Mousasi is such an amazing striker, it's ridiculous. I'm not even gonna try to prove that to anyone; Gegard Mousasi is one of the greatest strikers in the history of mixed martial arts. Simple as that. He has the ability to stifle anyone's game, and I mean anyone.

The one thing that separates him from others however is his intelligence. That is why, from a striking fan's perspective (such as myself), Gegard Mousasi vs Anderson Silva is the holy grail of MMA pure striking fights.
