I know there are obviously a ton of people on here that are excited for this game, and with some big gaming 'dates' coming within the next few months, we will probably be hearing some legit news about this game soon. I will update this thread as regularly as possible, if you guys find some cool stuff about it, post away! I know there is a video game thread but I don't wanna totally flood that thread with just stuff about the UFC game, so I will just make a thread dedicated to it.

Also, EA just launched an official website for the game recently .. today. So that must mean something is coming soon.

I actually don't like that video too much. Everything about it looks very EA MMA-ish to me.. but every other video I've seen before it, I actually really liked the overall look of it.. I guess we'll see.

Dude, what the **** happened to mashing the face buttons to get a sub. That's the real struggle system right there.

I agree Mike, the system doesn't look bad....but it took way too long and slow to lock in and the REF DIDN'T DO ****!

That's definitely gonna be my biggest gripe...I HATED that the ref doesn't pull you off for TKO's/Subs, it makes the end of a fight seem fake which is the most important thing in fighting haha..the end and finish.

Idk, that vid let me down.

@Blitzkrieg I 'kinda' lost interest after I found out they haven't included the follow punches after a KO, that really made it a lot more fun for me in UFC 3. I'm still getting it regardless but cmon, its sucks so much having to throw one overhand, ko your opponent and not finish off with a few hammerfists before the ref stops it.

@Mike I read the other hands-on article from that site and it had some good info...

One point was that you can change accelerated/normal clock in the options.

Also the guy went to a 5 round Split-Decision with Cain and JDS..and said the damage and blood system was amazing..with stuff like Cain's eye was cut and when he had JDS' back, blood was dripping and all over JDS back from Cain's eye. That's cool..

More notes from the article;

-T.J Dillashaw will be free DLC ASAP.
-Knocking someone out feels much more rewarding. Expect a good amount of decisions.
-Hitting post KO is in... if you ko your opponent while in top position on ground.
-Blood splashes on shorts, the mat, gloves, your body, and your opponents body.
-The rumor of blood disappearing may be false, cause this dude did not notice it.
-Reach is a much bigger factor.
-Takedowns are easy to stuff, which means you should really set them up.

Yeah. These overalls are pretty odd. I like the fact they're all rated fairly high. Every fight online should be competitive. But yes, some of these overalls are weird.

Does anybody know why they don't just include the entire roster? Like Madden and NBA Live have the entire roster, I hope it's something they'll do in a future game. I think it would be fun to start with a mid to low level guy and play a career with a dude like Yancy Meideros or Edson Barboza

Why the hell haven't they included Stipe Miocic in the game? That's one fighter they need to add in the HW division in future.

Also the demo will probably feature the fighters we've already seen, Pettis/Aldo and Ronda/Miesha.
