EA Sports UFC thread.

I know there are obviously a ton of people on here that are excited for this game, and with some big gaming 'dates' coming within the next few months, we will probably be hearing some legit news about this game soon. I will update this thread as regularly as possible, if you guys find some cool stuff about it, post away! I know there is a video game thread but I don't wanna totally flood that thread with just stuff about the UFC game, so I will just make a thread dedicated to it.

 

Also, EA just launched an official website for the game recently .. today. So that must mean something is coming soon.

^ Nice. I think it will definitely give the unique feel of most fighters. Hopefully they're not overpowered, and are just kind of small boosts or overlays like NBA 2K14's abilities and such.

If Rumble is a DLC, I want to be able to use him in every division.

Why does it say Jun 20th? Did they have to push it back another 3 days and are scrambling to finish it?...........sigh, c'mon guys.

If you pre order the game from gamestop you get Royce Gracie along with Bruce Lee.

@Swick, Apparently June 20th is the release date in New Zealand & other countries. As far as I know, the release date for CAN/USA is still the 17th.

According to someone who recently tested the game, Benson Henderson came out to 'Awesome God' as he usually would. THIS MEANS SANDSTORM!!

First real 'review' on the game. Some quotes. 

-99 fighters in the game.
-Tyron Woodley is not one of them. 
-Every is better, crisper, cleaner, and faster.
-Less modes and features than the older UFC games. 
-The physics utilized are 'incredible'. 
-Playing as Mendes vs. Aldo, Aldo was faster with everything and quite hard to catch on the feet. 
-The AI actually uses logical strategy depending on how the fight is going.
-The way athletes move on screen is closer to reality than it's ever been. 
-Submission system mini-game is new. 'Like a chess match.' 
-Online belt system similar to EA MMA's. 
-Bruce Lee can be used in career mode. No other roster fighter can.

99 fighters seems pretty ******. if you break that down thats only 11 per weight class

I don't mind it that much tbh. Compared to UFC 3's 150 fighters, sure, it looks bad. But it really isn't. UFC 3 was chalked full of fighters that you didn't use. Plus the fact alot of the fighters felt the exact same. If there is 99 fighters on the disc and they all actually feel a bit more unique, I'm all for it. Plus alot of DLC should be coming out for the game.

Fight Night Champion had 51 fighters on disc or 8 weight division, and it honestly felt like more. Even wen they added all the DLC it didn't come close to 99.

85 of 99 fighters have been revealed so far. Here's a breakdown of the current # per division.

Heavyweight- 9+1 LHW

Light Heavyweight- 14+4 MW

Middleweight- 12+3 LHW & 1 WW

Welterweight- 12+1 LW & 1 FW

Lightweight- 9+5 FW

Featherweight- 11+1 BW

Bantamweight- 6+4 FlyW

Flyweight- 8

Women's Bantamweight- 4 (there will be 7 total)

Now add Bruce Lee to WW, LW, FW, BW.
