Probably not the first, Perry has a good chin. But he has poor defense and is overall less technically skilled on the feet than Jouban, which is why I'm going to pick against him.

@Yasdas I wouldn't be surprised if it gets out of the first, but I believe it ends in the first round because both fighters seem to enjoy getting in firefights and throwing caution to the wind. I don't think defense will be a top priority in this fight...haha

Besides getting rocked once, I was actually impressed with Perry in his last two fights.

Someone is getting KTFO for sure though.

Perry shows he's got a stellar chin to go along with that power against Roberts, but he can't live on that forever.

I'm sort of picking with my heart here, but I have a feeling Perry's going to claim another scalp before getting into the deeper waters at 170 and getting exposed. He's basically a new-school Phil Baroni.

I'm anticipating Perry knocking Jouban out in the first round, then getting on the mic and saying "You're fucking out, I'm fucking in!"

Man, it's like even the matchmakers want to see Perry get knocked out. 3 tough matchups in 4 months. It's funny, Perry fights a lot, has an entertaining style, and KO power, but I don't see him getting many fans anytime soon because he's such a douche.

This is a tough one. Both have KO power. Jouban is more technically skilled but I don't think his chin is nearly as good.

Bro he was getting taken to task in his last fight...he would end rounds well but overall he was losing that fight  by a distance... That last 47 seconds saved his butt... He had lost that fight up til then...

@StreamFan68  Mikeyg is right imo...He was getting lit up,his defense is shit,he's sloppy etc. and has a lot to work on,but that has nothing to do with the fact that he has improved a lot in the last few fights believe it or not.If you watch his fights prior to joining the UFC you'll see he's actually improved a decent amount, especially with movement (believe it or not),shot placement, combinations, counters etc. He's still just a slugger, but he's a much better slugger than he was.

Jouban should win this ... but he's super hittable and tends to abandon his strengths and get into slugfests. Perry wins a slugfest any day of the week.

I've never really been wow'd by Jouban. I think Perry's chances are good here.

I didn't like the way Perry held his hands low in his last fight, and I thought he showed a lack of head movement that a striker with more power than Roberts could really capitalize on in a later round. I hope Jouban is the many for the job because I can't fucking stand this racist jabroni but he can't stand and bang with him. We need to see some of that 10th Planet BJJ at work.

power edge to perry, but jouban definitely has experience/cardio edge and i'm thinking he can avoid the early brawl and let loose once mike slows.
