Ok so I'm new to the forum world, but I see an overwhelming outflow of Hate for current UFC LH Champion Jon Jones...

Why does everyone seem to HATE Jone Jones?

People hate Jon Jones because of one of these three reasons and sometimes, all of them:

a) He's ****y
b) He's fake
c) He's very talented

EDIT 2: I don't hate Jon Jones by the way. I just don't like it when someone shows complete bias towards the guy (cough Gregory cough).

I think he is very ****y, and very fake ... But I will not lie, the reason I hate him is due to the beating he put on Bonnar ... I am and was a big fan of Bonnar and ever since then I hate him. Now that the ****y ****** part is coming out I have more of a reason to.

I was all about Jones after he beat Bonnar in 09. Fell off the bandwagon and actually started to strongly dislike him leading up to the Shogun, Rampage, and Machida fights, because I did get a ****y sense from him. Now I'm starting to come around the other way. I don't love him as a person. I'm not really into the type of guys who think it's their destiny to do this and that, but I do think he's demonized largely because people hate the fact that he's tearing through some of the most feared fighters in MMA history.

In my case in particular, I'm a huge Shogun Rua fan, so it was a bitter pill to swallow to see Jones tear him apart and make him quit from strikes. But now I'm over it and just respect the hell out of the kid's skills. He's already one of the best of all time and I think his reign's just beginning, so the haters better get used to him.

I'll be the first to admit I'm the biggest Jon Jones hater, and I'll also be the first to admit he is probably going to be a goat. But on that note, i do not like his attitude. Its pretty manifest how ****y he is, and the whole spirituality schtick is overwhelming for me.

Im not a Machida fan.. I hate Rampage, and I like SHogun, but not to a bias level. So who he has beat has no bearings on how I hate him. Although, I am a massive Evans fan, so if he beats him, I'll have even more hate for him.

I dont hate on THAT many MMA fighters, I dont even dislike many. But Jones is leaps and bounds above anyone else on my ****list.

He can come off with this weird ass ****iness that makes you angry, but I still love him. I met him at the UFC 118 Fan Expo in Boston and he was one of the nicest guys I met there.

Been one of my favorite fighters since he fought Bonnar. Love watching him fight. I understand the hate for him, not gonna lie, a lot of people think he is ****y. I'm not advocating it, but if there's any fighter out there who deserves to be ****y, it's someone like Bones, who is at the top of the sport.

a) he's accomplished way too much way too fast

b) he seems unbeatable

c) he's black

d) he's destroying legends with ease

e) he wears his religion on his sleeve (or chest as it were)

"e" is the only one that annoys me slightly...but he's no tebow so it doesn't bother me that much

I just hate how people are launching him at the top of the P4P rankings. If you have GSP in your list, Bones should be 4. If you don't because of the injury (i.e. me), he should be 3. I personally think Aldo's higher because he's been decimating the competition like Bones only for a longer time and Anderson's first because he's been doing it before Bones started fighting.

I would love to see Rashad beat Jones, but I highly doubt it. He looked lackluster decisioning both Thiago Silva & Rampage, and it took him 2 rounds to beat a near-retired Tito.

yeah people love Rampage, Anderson, Aldo, JDS, Overeem, Henderson...
but they hate Jon Jones because hes the only black fighter, apparently.

he's my #3 top pound-for-pound fighter and i dont dislike him.
but i would absolutely love any other guy that did the same stuff that he does.
i dont know, its not even the ****y thing to me. he just seems fake, like a politician.
maybe ill come around and start liking the guy more if he keeps winning.
