I really hope you're right thebrickhouse. Belfort is a fighter that was destined for great things but had serious tragedy in his life. He's been too distracted for too long & now he looks sharper than ever. Neither man has ever been KO'd. I don't include stoppages (Randy's phenomenal owning of Belfort). I think someone has to eat canvas. It will be 100 times the upset that Sera v GSP was & to all the blow in fans it will be 1000's times the upset :D

Silva will push the action hard and look for a take down early but it will be stopped then silva puts Vitor in the clinch on the cage and puts belforton his back then with w flury of punches he puts him away.

I've lost almost all respect for Anderson Silva over the last couple of years, but his ability to win in all fashions, and in any situation, simply cannot be overlooked or overstated. While the possibility of Belfort finding his way inside and landing is very real, it seems very foolish indeed to bet against Anderson. As even Dana White admitted, what will actually happen is a mystery. Both men bring multiple possible personae into the cage. The one thing I do expect is that Silva once again leaves that cage with the belt.

i too have lost a huge chunk of respect for silva....and i think his reign ends tonght....he pissed belfort off last night, and someone whos pissed becomes super agressive...could be advantage OR disadvantage, but i think belfort wins in stunning fashion that would make chris tucker proud...."YOU GOT KNOCKED THE *** OUT!"

I think the Pettis "Showtime kick" is still the coolest kick I've ever seen, but Anderson's kick was awesome. Anderson put on a great showing. Also good call by Gregory to switch to rd 1.

Yeah, I remembered that one right after I posted that. Coolest KO kick i have ever seen. Reminded me of Andersons' uppercut elbow ko of tony fryklund.

Yeah this kick went high up on my all time greatest knockouts. I actually found this entire fight extremely exciting, even the half round of circling just because of all the anticipation. You knew the second these guys started fighting someone was getting TKOed. I definitely did not see either guy getting KOed like that though, especially that early.

Cant believe it. Every time i hope silva loses then he wins but this time it was pretty amazing.
I was hoping vitor would hold guard and recover when he brought his legs up after the kick but his eyes couldn't focus.
Good job anderson despite my strong dislike for him he did amazing....again!
