I don't know if heart and Belfort necessarily co hand in hand. Belfort is one of those big front runners. He does really good when he's dominate but tend to whither if he's met with a lot of resistance. But who knows maybe Belfort is a changed man. He is on the longest winning streak of his career right now.

I gotta laugh at the Belfort has heart comment.... Just because he loves his family and has a big heart doesn't mean that coincides with his competitive nature. Randy took the will right out of him in 2 of 3 fights and if it weren't for almost losing an eye he'd probably done the same in the 2nd fight. Anderson will do the same only with effective counterstriking.

Not to mention Anderson has no heart when he's fighting someone he dislikes, he won't stop to put on a savage beating of Belfort. The guy is constantly poking jokes at fighters who have disrespected him, it's just too bad we can't always hear what he's most likely saying behind the scenes. I'd like to get to know "the real" anderson silva.

Somewhere inside me I've got a feeling that Anderson's reign at the top is just about done, and that father time is taking over. Not quite yet though, Silva will have some magic left and Belfort will get taken out.

I can see this fight either ending in the 1st round or ending with a judges decision. My money is on Silva finishing this fight early.

Vitor will slow down in the later rounds especially after cutting down to 185, and Anderson will make this his own show for 5 rounds.

He's gonna hurt him at the end of the first round and come out in the 2nd and continue to hurt him and stop him with a straight left while Vitor is on the floor.

I'm suprised people are doubting silva.

I'm hoping to see Anderson perform in this fight. I'm thinking he'll be able to pick apart Belfort and knock him out in the second round.

God that was nuts. I can't believe the fans booed Anderson as much as they did. He has sort of escalated this fight into what it is now, but I don't think he's doing it for show, I think he is just taking it really personally. And if the fans are still angry over the Maia fight, I have to say get over it.

I'm a huge fan of Anderson Silva and everything he does, but Vitor's gotta be the most likable fighter on the planet.  After such an intense staredown all Vitor can say about Anderson is that he's a good guy with a good heart?  I'll still be rooting for Anderson as always, but I gotta say if there's anyone in the middleweight division who I wouldn't be too upset to see Anderson lose to, it's Vitor.
That same intensity better show up in the fight tomorrow night.

Anyone know what the deal was with that mask Anderson was wearing?

@minotauro Vitor made some comment where he said Anderson wore a mask and was being a fake person. So then Anderson I guess wanted to play around or get back at him for that.
