Didn't think I'd care much when hockey started back up, but the Sens have looked pretty good through the first two games. Anderson's only let in a goal while the team has put out 8. They've actually got me looking forward to seeing them play again.

Saw this picture on facebook. Petr Mrazek was called up for the Red Wings to start in the net for Detroit tonight, and i saw he has Peter Griffin as Superman on his mask. I thought this was hilarious.

Hmm. I didn't think about that, but it wouldn't surprise me if that had something to do with it. I really hope he doesn't change it because he's in the NHL, that mask is so awesome.

I really doubt he was confused, probably just thought it was funny. And I agree on not changing it. I don't want to say anything about his game so far, don't want to jinx it.

I always thought Pronger was a ****, then again, he played for one of my team's division rivals. He did some dirty stuff in his day, but he's a guy that you hate to play against, and would love to have on your side. I'm interested to see if he gets in the HOF or not, i'm not sure.

He'll be in the Hall of Fame for sure, he was one of the best defencemen of his era. He won the Hart trophy, the Norris, the Stanley Cup. Made it to the finals with 3 different teams, won 2 Olympic gold medals. et cetera et cetera.

The Hart trophy season in 1999 was one of the greatest seasons by any defenseman ever, Pronger makes it on the first ballot just 'cause of that season.

Anyone see Frazer McLaren KTFO that guy from Ottawa? Pretty crazy. Just saw it today, also saw middle easy has an article about it. Felt bad for the guy from Ottawa, i know they're having injury issues and i think this guy just got called up, and i'm sure the guy was just trying to get a place in the team or something...but damn.

@ ProdigyKid14, I was cooking and missed it but saw the replay after the frist period it was nasty! It was the guys first fight in the NHL too.

Disagree here. There have been many better defensive performance: Orr, Savard, Lidstrom, Leech, MacInnis, Neidermeyer, Coffee, Bourque, Potvin,
His defensive play was great, but I would not call him first ballot, for sure; however, he is definitely a hall of famer.

Pronger was never a standout like many other of the bigger stars. He got a lot more attention because of dirty play and his mouth, which popularized him beyond his skill level.
