I just last season started trying to truly follow hockey and went to a few Lightning games.Sitting up close is awesome,One time last season we got box seats and it was pretty lame.I couldn't stay into the match with all those snacks and comfy chairs,Plus those seats are to far away from the action.I love live sports and hockey is amazing live.I still have trouble paying attention to the games on TV though.

Commentators are a huge factor. I find TSN guys are the best.

'Nother Norris for ol' Karlsson this and SPezza has a chance at the Ross because its a 48 game season.

I would love to see Jason Spezza win a post-season award, definitely one of my favorite players and one of the most underrated guys in the league, no doubt about that.

TSN guys are biased, CBC guys are very biased, RDS guys are RIDICULOUSLY biased. I like the Dallas Stars and the New York Rangers team commentator teams though.

Now that hockey's back, it's time for Fantasy Hockey. I'm making a Fantasy Hockey league, if you wanna reserve a spot just say so.

@CashBrewyn There is no word. Apparently the Canadiens management doesn't know who this "Penalty Kill Subban" is. They're gonna talk after the new CBA's i's and ts are dotted and crossed.

I got Grand Rapids Griffins tickets for Christmas, so obviously, the NHL would come back.

I'm still not too psyched about the NHL starting back up, but I agree with a couple people about Spezza. He's been playing in Switzerland as far as I know so he should good to go. The Sens will always be my home team so I'll always cheer for them.

Here's hoping the first few games peak my interest! Miss being a hardcore hockey fan.

With the shortend NHL season the Leafs should have a chance to make the playoffs.. They usually do good for the first half of the season.. GO LEAFS GO

Not the biggest hockey fan but glad it's back. I hope the arena's are mostly full around the league. Hockey is a great sport but greed is ruining it.

Playing 48 games in 98 days will take a toll on theses guys. We'll be able to tell who came to camp in shape and who didn't. I think those guys that have been playing elsewhere will definitely be ahead of the game as far as conditioning.
