He knew what sub was coming and couldn't do anything and Volkmann is an elite grappler.  Attempt almost 14 subs per 15 minutes and you're gonna catch just about anyone unless they finish you.

I guess we'll find out if what Volkmann said is true.  He said he thinks for sure the UFC will fire him if he lost to Sass, regardless of 5 wins in a row.  See if is pessimism about everything is real this time.

Sass: I don't always get a sub...oh why yes...yes I do. :)

On a side note I love his accent. I have a hard time understanding Manchester and Liverpool accents, but he speaks pretty darn clearly and very easy to understand.

Damn, Volkmann may not have the most fan friendly style, but it would be super unfair if he got cut after just 1 loss.

The thing about sass is any heavily wrestler based fighter plays right into his style. I really like sass and I'd like to see him fighting a higher level of competition, I think he deserves it after this win.

Sass being able to take out one of the best ground stiflers in the division in half a round is damn impressive. He might have trouble with the elite strikers of the division though.
