It was very inspirational to see Pennington achieve the belt in her second chance. Rocky seems to say yes to any fight. That being said a fight against Peña is perfect. But if she isn’t available Aldana surely deserves another chance, especially after her last fight. I also think the winner of Dumont vs. GDR deserves a shot at a championship.
Either way right now it’s to early for speculation and at the end of the day Nunes would be the best defense. Intriguing division.

Another interesting potential matchup for this championship would be Valentina Shevchenko. A win over Shevchenko would be a great first title defense for Pennington. And if Shevchenko won, that might entice Nunes out of retirement.
