I mean, can't you guys do what you did when it came to boxing records? You know, make it's own thing so we can make picks that way? I feel like there's missed potential here. Like, is it really that hard to implement? (Not trying to diss, I'm just genuinely asking here. Idk what it's like behind the scenes. I would like some wisdom if that's okay with you)

Is there a reason Belcher never came back for MMA but did for Bareknuckle? Just prefers the venture?

I've already elaborated on this a few times in other threads, but I'll give some details again so that you and whoever else can understand a bit better.

First, making changes or adding features to a custom website like Tapology is generally harder and more technical  than it is for most of the news or blog sites out there. Most news/blog sites are built using content management systems (CMS's). These make it possible to add certain features and plugins without having to code, or without having to do a lot of code. But a website like Tapology is all customized. There are no plugins out there for these features. It's not like there is a checkbox behind the scenes that says "Enable picks on bare knuckle?" that I can click and call it a day.

Next is that the bigger the website, things can kind of get exponentially more complex. There are so many different features on Tapology, and the programming for them overlaps and intersects with itself all over the place. Making a change in one place can end up causing ripple effects and mess up lots of other things. So basically anywhere on the entire website where it says anything about how many picks you've made, or if you have pending picks, or what the pick deadlines are.... they all need to be modified in order to understand the difference between boxing vs MMA vs bare knuckle, and which picks or bouts should be tallied or considered. Every fantasy game page would need new variants and labels of when something was bare knuckle. The FightCenter main page would need modifications. The main homepage, the sidebar that shows pick status, all the awards and badges you can unlock would need new modified programming, etc etc etc.

It's more work than it seems. But don't get me wrong, it's not the biggest project ever, it's only a medium sized project.  And since Bare Knuckle is getting more popular, we will likely get it done at some point. However it is stuck waiting behind lots of other priorities, some of which are complicated and take a really long time.
