if it weren't for the 12-6 elbow rule, this grounded opponent rule is easily the dumbest rule in all of MMA. it's a real fight, they land headkicks and spinning kicks to each other's faces and heads while standing, then they get KO'd and free fall from over 5 feet in the air and their head bounces off the floor. but god forbid you land a knee or a kick when they're grounded...oh no how awful....smh
