Marcos by tko round 3

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 4 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 1311th

Daniel Marcos, I don't think he will have difficulties beating Aori, he is much more technical and precise when connecting, he kicks very hard to take away the opponent's base, Aori has the perfect style for Marcos to perform better, Aori has a lot of volume but At the same time he receives more than he connects, everyone hates Marcos because of Grant, Perl Grant only connected 1 clean blow to Marcos' face in 15 minutes, Grant received more clean blows to the face, it is a lie that it was only one blow from Marcos who made Grant bleed, I already saw the fight again, Marcos dodged and blocked Grant's blows, I see Marcos giving a tko to Aori, his defense is horrible, he is a very frontal fighter

A bit of me would be shocked if Potieria vs. Bryczek doesnt end in a KO, Ihor's style very much involves either him knocking someone out or him being knocked out so far

Did we have a fight card last week? Feels like forever since there was some fights and I'm saying that after an exahustive week trying to cover 14 fights with few "locks".
The clock is ticking real slow right now.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 10 of 14 Winners, 6 Perfect, 715 Points   |   Tied for 36th with 7 others

Hermansson vs. Pyfer
Joe Pyfer, TKO, R3
volume vs power, i'll say power wins this one, but really wouldn't be surprised if the guy who has seen better competition can pick up another upset.

Ige vs. Fili
Dan Ige, DEC
toss-up for me, but fili has been outstruck in some of his recent wins and i'm not sure ige will accept playing guard if andre does try to wrestle.

Potieria vs. Bryczek
Robert Bryczek, TKO, R1
late notice, new weightclass, and missed weight. too many things going against ihor here to say his chin survives this time. beating 2023 shogun is a cool feather in your hat, but not one that builds my confidence that he can replicate that against hungrier less-worn fighters.

Tavares vs. Rodrigues
Gregory Rodrigues, DEC
very possible that gregory can't find his range and gets stuck in a clinch/break/move type battle, and a win over tiuliulin is hardly impressive, but brad doesn't commit to his shots enough to make him pay for wide shots. brad seems to be able to stall out guys that wanna grapple him, but gets forced to play defensive when guys wanna strike and gregory most likely will push that gameplan.

Johnson vs. Flowers
Michael Johnson, DEC
flowers was at mw 2 years ago, came down to ww, now is at lw and initially missed weight yesterday. on top of that, he's not much of takedown/sub threat. this all kinda points to the type of boxing match mj likes. question is just can his chin handle the shots still, not sure how to compare diego's hands to flowers'.

Vieira vs. Petrosyan
Rodolfo Vieira, SUB, R1
striker vs grappler. if vieira gets stuck standing, he's gonna get ko'd probably, but armen has been taken down multiple times by 4/5 ufc opponents and the one guy that didn't has a grand total of 0 takedowns in 3 ufc fights so i'll just assume that's not his game. all this said, vieira only needs one opportunity. i'll say he gets inside early enough to make armen too tired to land the ko shot.

Giles vs. Prates
Carlos Prates, TKO, R2
giles can win this if he wrestles, but that doesn't seem to be his plan until later in his fights so i'll say prates can do enough early work to leave giles reaching later.

Cuamba vs. Oki
Bolaji Oki, DEC
cuamba coming up in weight and late notice, but honestly think this will be more competitive than the matchup suggests because both seem likely to oblige the other in a standup battle. gonna stick with oki because he didn't fight last week but really wouldn't be surprised if cuamba can set up his range and keep to it.

Lookboonmee vs. Brasil
Loma Lookboonmee, DEC
step up for bruna, she's gonna need early td's to stop loma from getting ahead on volume. not sure i see it happening often enough.

Clark vs. Prachnio
Marcin Prachnio, DEC
i'm gonna take my chance here because taking clark is always such a nail-biter that i'd rather risk it. if he can't take marcin down often then he might get stuck on the outside and we've seen marcin able to put out volume when he's comfortable.

Wells vs. Griffin
Jeremiah Wells, DEC
seems a matter of how much energy max can make wells use early, but the more experience he gets in the big show the better he'll get at conserving/recovering. max has been taken down by his last 3 opponents so wells should be able to get on top for some stretch.

Pauga vs. Guskov
Bogdan Guskov, TKO, R2
pauga is gonna need to slow things down and mix in td's. guskov has to avoid gassing and just getting clinched up. i'll say the power is enough

Amil vs. Garcia
Hyder Amil, DEC
tapology has the odds backwards? fernie coming in on super short notice, up a weightclass, and off 3 losses. not enough redeeming points to make me take him.

Marcos vs. Aoriqileng
Daniel Marcos, DEC
aori will come out hot so it's gonna be on marcos to mix it up and get him tired so the hands drop and volume wanes. i'll say he can do so and avoid getting sniped early.

I have 3 bets this card but I wouldn't say I'm confident about them hitting, well except Oki. I'm rarely confident in bets hitting though because I mostly bet dogs and you'd be insane to be confident they'll hit over 50% in these odds ranges.

I got Aoriqileng, Brasil and Oki.
