Wow, im actually fairly surprised. I thought his fight with Pearson was fairly close.

I could see an arguement for why he should stay as well as why he could be cut.  He has only lost his past fight and that was a very close decision, and he's 1-1 in his second UFC outing.  However, he's 2-3 overall in the UFC with his only wins against Eddie Yagin and David Lee.  Plus his win over Yagin was a terribly unexciting fight where fans were booing the whole time and neither fighter got off any significant offense.  I think it's fair, but he definitely could have gotten one more chance.
