Jonathan Piersma, SUB, R3
This seems like a setup to highlight Piersma. He is a really good prospect who had some bad luck earlier this year with injuries. While that loss to radkte has aged poorly, I really thought Piersma won. He got clobbered on the feet but managed to effectively control radkte for the majority of the fight. However, it shows that’s a hole in his game. This other guy is coming out of retirement and had a lot of issues in the past
Magomedov vs. Mashrapov

This should be the main event tbh. Mashrapov is really explosive but he is a little too wild for my liking with his standup. He has some good throws too. Magomedov is a bjj dagi. He has good wrestling but actively looks to finish the fight
Nichols vs. Vera

Not sure why nichols is the underdog. Her record is bad but she has only lost to good fighters. Vera had a very sloppy performance against Shauna Bannon who is not good

Lawson is a fraud. Idk how he wrestled at penn state cuz his mma wrestling is nonexistent. That dwcs fight was one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen. He should win this tho. Guy he’s facing seems very low level
Craig vs. Bishop

Craig is not that bad. He’s young and has shown flashes of talent. His issue is that he can’t grapple and has bad striking defense. However, his opponent is a can crusher. I’ll take Craig for the upset

Penha is the son of Sergio Penha. His bjj has looked so good in mma. And he has college wrestling background
