Suzuki’s upset of pitbull was one of the more insane moments of 2023 yet it flew so under the radar. It looks ridiculous on paper but it really should be noted that pitbull took that fight on 4 days notice. Not only that, but it was a month after having killed himself to go down to 135 where he ended up losing a very flat performance. He happened to be in Japan because of his brother & randomly took this fight off the couch. As a result he was massively undersized & compromised from the short notice weight cut & no camp so he got smoked. It should also be noted that Suzuki was easily subbed in one round by kleber. Vugar lacks the bjj level of Erbst, but his grappling is great & he has a high level submission game of his own. I think he will take down Suzuki & dominate with grappling

Tofiq’s loss to de Souza aged poorly & he looked horrible against Shabliy but at the end of the day he is still a really good striker. I think he will style on takeda. Takeda is well rounded but not better than Tofiq anywhere. Should be a violent Tofiq ko
Abbasov vs. Abdulkhalikov

I really like abbasov but as fun as he is, I don’t think he’s that good. He would win fights at the ufc level but he is pretty small & his striking is sloppy. He makes up for it by turning all his fights into brawls but I think abdulkhalikov is more technical. Abbasov has decent wrestling but he prefers to strike. This is a really good fight tho
Mamedov vs. Scoggins

Scoggins is actually so underrated. His ufc career didn’t end well but 1. He was super young getting tough fights and 2. Every loss he has is either a bad robbery or a fight he was winning & somehow got subbed. His skills are actually so good but he just has an innate ability to get caught in a submission. Now that he’s older & more mature he has built a nice winstreak. Mehman is better than his record looks, but at the end of the day he is still a .500 35 year old. I would love to see scoggins make his way back to the ufc. I think he could be a ranked 125er
Ragimov vs. Kim

Kim is pretty good but he had to run into jubli in RTU. It was a pretty competitive fight but he lost to the better fighter that night. Ragimov is a good vet but he is old, should be a Kim showcase
Svetkivska vs. Abdueva

I actually think svetkivska is pretty good. She looked awesome as an amateur but got thrown to the wolves in rizin. This is a big step down I think she will shine against an inexperienced opponent

Love the activity from rudnev. He was a 4x world champion in combat sambo & has translated those skills very well to mma. His last fight with dizzy was a war. Rudnev showed a lot of creative grappling & beat a good vet. Cohen is pretty good himself but I don’t think his grappling is good enough to last against Rudnev
Domingos vs. Betlemidze

I can’t believe Domingos actually lost to this guy. Both are so bad but I thjnk domingos gets this done. He only lost the first time because of an injury

Mehziev is a fraud. He has only fought jobbers & avoided everyone he got matched with in ksw. I don’t think Sami is amazing, but he has real wins & is an active fighter. Mehziev screams fraud to me

LANDMARK is a really good concept by RIZIN because they aside the traditional ring and use the cage and octagon during this fights. I really like the RIZIN ring and they keeping the PRIDE FC essence, but LANDMARK is a really good format for the Company.
Azerbajiani Crew is making a take over in RIZIN: Kuramov is RIZIN Featherweight Champion and Tofiq was RIZIN Lightweight Grand Prix Champion in 2019.
