How good is Diaz's chin?

Seems like he can take a beating and keep moving forward. But he doesn't look like he has one of those rock-solid heads like Quinton Jackson, BJ Penn, FUJITA, or Mark Hunt.

Is it just that nobody has ever connected right on the button with Diaz? Or could he really be that tough where he can just take it. I think luck or whatever has been a factor and one of these days he will get caught and go out cold. He brawls with power punchers more than he should.

part of his boxing skill is rolling with the punches ever so slightly, so he takes just a little sting off of them. he's rarely caught walking straight forward into a punch; usually his head is moving away or to the side.

diaz outboxes boxers, out grapples grapplers, and cusses out everybody...dude is the anti gsp...he'll take ur strength and beat u there....****y, and that attitude has lost him some fights in the past, but man he's fun to watch...oh, and to answer your question, his chin is one of the best in mma...he's taken some clean shots from noons, lawler, cyborg, gomi, and sakurai..but he doesnt get ko'd..dudes a freak, in a good way

I would'nt go has far as to say he is the anti-gsp. ( gomi doesn't count since diaz was high.)

i know gomi doesn't count, which is kinda dumb...how would being high make u a better fighter? maybe it numbs the pain a smidge, but it makes u slow in the head...and if gomi catches u, even if u smoke more tree than snoop dogg, ur going hibernating!! lol, and i meant he's the anti gsp in that he gives birds, yells profanity (while fighting!), disrespects some fighters pre fight, smokes weed, and is kinda illiterate....gsp is none of those. I WOULD LOVE THAT FIGHT!

@beastie I don't think anyone has claimed that Diaz was high during the actual fight.  THC stays in your system for a long time.

thats the reason they no contested the fight though...they said it could've made him more numb/pain tolerant...

I don't buy the pain/numbness argument. It's kind of ridiculous.

But even if Diaz disagrees with the rules he still needs to follow them.  It sucks that we have to look back on such an epic fight and call it a no contest, but the athletic commission needs to maintain some integrity.
