Ricky Bandejas, TKO, R2
Both these guys are pretty washed. I’ve always been a huge bandejas fan but he has regressed so badly these past few years. He had flashes of brilliance in bellator but after getting released he has stopped caring. He did show flashes of his old self in that crazy war against ray borg (I still think Ricky won that fight btw) but then he fought a very washed Cisco Rivera and looked amateur. He was on his way to getting ko’ed by an old man but got saved by an eye poke. Weirdly enough, I think Ricky can take this. I am concerned cuz he doesn’t appear to be training hard anymore and he has always struggled against grapplers, but at the same time Reis is barely holding on. He has always been a high level grappler but as he’s gotten older his striking has regressed badly. He is so chinny at this point I think Ricky is live for a ko as long as they are standing. Reid’s grappling might be enough to get him the win here but I can’t pick him
Orozco vs. Perry

Perry is actually decent I could see an upset here. However, orozco has looked really good so far. Very good wrestler & he doesn’t play when he gets on top. Perry looked really good against that fraud cooper bro & his only other loss is a doctors stoppage so he is actually not bad
Rose vs. Vazquez

Two gladiator challenge can crushers. Surely nothing can go wrong here. Vazquez’s ig says he’s a ranked no gi grappler but that remains to be seen
Winther vs. Zaragosa

Zaragoza’s record looks bad compared to winther’s but I think he’s gonna get an upset here. He wrestled for Fresno state and I believe was an all American (he has the tattoo). I can’t trust anyone who trains with Jesse Taylor

Not sure what to think here. These cage warriors Indonesians are some of the worst fighters you’ll ever watch but, despite the 5-0 record this American guy looks like a total jobber. 4-12 as an amateur is crazy. He has been dominating as a pro so maybe he is decent but that ammy record scares me. I think he should win because the Indonesians don’t have it but idk

I hate picking gladiator challenge fighters but settle is a jobber. I can’t believe he has any wins

Hernandez building up a good resume but I have not been all that impressed with him. Trevin jones is an extremely beatable opponent. He has insane power and really good counter striking but he fights like woodley did before retiring; just stands there and does nothing, even if he scores a knockdown or hurts someone he won’t jump on it. Gonna pick him because he’s my boy but won’t be shocked if Hernandez just out points him to a 30-27 or even gets a finish. Trevin is dangerous at times but mostly just a warm body

Another solid matchup. Blair was a standout wrestler in HS and wrestled at UNC. He’s got the wrestling that gets you to big promotions. He’s also a teammate & training partner of Paddy the Baddy. Hassanzada fought on DWCS (2022 Week 4 - one of my fav episodes) and lost to Nazim Sadykov. I’m leaning Blair because that wrestling is just levels above
