Predictions: 7 of 15 Winners, 3 Perfect, 490 Points   |   Tied for 136th

Hazan vs. Loughran
Caolan Loughran, TKO, R4
Very excited for this fight. I really liked hazan when he was at 125 but at 135 not so much. What makes him unique is that he is a wrestler with experience in both Greco & freestyle wrestling, so he gets the best of both worlds. However, his striking is pretty much nonexistent. Now that he’s up a weight class, I think he’s a bit undersized, especially against Caolan who is insanely stocky and was big for featherweight. Speaking of Caolan, I really think he is the best fighter in cage warriors. He has been fighting better and better people each fight and every fight is a onesided shutout. His striking is very good. His striking is very technical and he likes to pick his opponents apart. I think the best part of his striking is his counter game, but since hazan is not a good striker we won’t see much of that. Caolan also has great power; when he lands clean he is hurting people bad. The nail in the coffin for hazan is the fact that Caolan can wrestle very well. He has a wrestling background and trains with Mike Grundy every day. On top of actuslly knowing how to wrestle, Caolan has a very strong center of gravity & great hips on top of being a fantastic athelte. I really think he will make this a shutout and go on to the ufc. He is one of the best prospects currently imo

Aliu vs. Stewart
Leon Aliu, TKO, R1
This is gonna be pretty funny. I think stewart is really bad, and has just been getting worse every fight. Even tho he won his last fight and did what he was supposed to do, it still wasn’t a mind blowing performance and the dude he beat is as bad as it gets. Aliu on the other hand isn’t much better, but he is just a crazy brawler. I think this is gonna be a slugfest until someone’s chin gives out

Lupoli vs. Creasey
Sam Creasey, DEC
Im probably gonna regret this pick, but I’ll take the dog shot here. Creasey is honestly very good but he’s held back from ever getting to the big show because his chin is just glass. Pretty much every loss he’s ever had has been a fight he’s been winning clearly before he gets caught with something and his chin fails him. He looked a career best in his last fight and then got stiffened badly out of nowhere. I like Lupoli but if he doesn’t find the kill shot I think creasey might be too much for him at this point

Zaccaria vs. Miller
Emanuele Zaccaria, SUB, R3
Miller is such a meme. He was dominating jack Cartwright but kept headbutting him for no reason. Since then, he’s been getting his ass kicked, recently getting ko’ed.

Favero vs. Walczak
Jasmine Favero, SUB, R2
Favero is actually a pretty talented prospect. Since there’s almost no other women in cage warriors, if she keeps winning I bet we will see her end up on dwcs

Pagliariccio vs. Fanny
Tanio Pagliariccio, DEC
I was tempted to pick Dfanny, but his losses are way too bad for me to pick him

Prabowo vs. De Filippis
Yoga Prabowo, SUB, R1
Wow CW really wants to push their mma academy Indonesians lol. Giving this guy a layup on a big card & the rest are all on RTU this year

Caiazza vs. Sarasjärvi
Edoardo Caiazza, TKO, R1
Outside of the main event, this is my most anticipated fight on the card. I’ve only seen some highlights of caiazza, but I’ve heard a lot of people saying he’s the next thing from Italy. His opponent is also pretty decent. He had an ugly record as an ammy, but only lost to top guys and picked up some good wins himself. Eager to see how both look

Dia vs. Cabral
Khadim Dia, SUB, R1
I don’t know dia but I know that Cabral is absolutely terrible

Giordano vs. Di Gangi
Alessandro Giordano, DEC
Giordano put up a decent fight against fletcher. I’m not too confident in him tho because 1. He lost to fletcher and 2. His opponent actually has some good wins

Khojaev vs. Sabatino
Jovidon Khojaev, DEC
Honestly someone fighting in the Vietnam mma scene seems really sus, but he was part of the fight academy so hopefully that training has helped some. I don’t really know much about his opponent and I know it’s not smart to pick against an Italian on this card, but I’m curious about this Tajik kid

Predictions

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 565 Points   |   80th Place

Loughran vs Hazan
Loughran KO/TKO 3rd
I really like Loughran and I think he is probably the next big Irish talent to go to the ufc if he wins but then again hazan is a really good wrestler and I really don’t like Uk guys facing good wrestlers (the grappling scene over here sucks ass other than the Dagestanis like Mokaev) But I’m gonna trust his takedown defence to hold up here because from what I have seen he has looked solid enough

Aliu vs Stewart
Aliu KO/TKO 2nd
Just can’t trust Darren Stewart to get anything done anymore bro just needs to retire

Lupoli vs Creasey
Lupoli KO 3rd
Creasey will dominate the 1st and 2nd but then will probably get chinned I reckon however not touching this fight betting wise

Favero vs Walczak
Favero DEC
Favero looks quite decent from what I’ve seen decent WMMA prospect to watch out for

Pedersoli vs Bachar
Pedersoli DEC
Pedersoli looked decent from what I remember against Fleminas and this Greek guy isn’t very active but he has trained at AllStars and MMA Masters so he is a live dog if the odds are good

Prabowo vs De Fillipis
Prabowo DEC

This guy started off wrestling and the Indonesians arent the greatest at subs so I think he just wrestles for 3 rounds to a boring decision. The Italian dude doesn’t look great

Caiazza vs Sarajarvi
Caiazza KO/TKO 2nd
Easily the best guy on MMA fight academy he looks legit to me apparently the whole team agree he’s the best striker and along with Jimmy Quinn I think they will be the two best out of the series. His opponent is also pretty decent with IMMAF experience but I do buy Caiazza is good he’ll be in the UFC within 3 years IMO.

Dia vs Cabral
Dia SUB RD2
Dia is huge for welterweight like I’ve seen pictures with people at middleweight in the camp and he is legit like 6 4 and he isn’t Rail thin either and from what I’ve seen he’s somewhat decent on the feet, knows how to used is range with a jab and his ground game that isn’t bad but I am scared his chin will be terrible. Also trained at Kill Cliff with Said Saparov.

Khojaev vs Sabatino
Khojaev DEC

Khojaev surprisingly has a judo background and isn’t your typical kind of guy form that region also glad he’s fighting down at lightweight was scared he was going to fight at middleweight which would make him way too small but I think he is not complete **** so he should beat this kid and I reckon he’ll be huge favourite  just cos his name ends in ‘ev’ but he has a good camp for a few months

Mazzeo vs Arastey
Mazzeo KO 1st RD
Mazzeo just looks like a brawler and i do think he is a stand and bang type of guy but he has had quality training for months not only at MMA fight academy but also at Kill Cliff Fc with Dia so I will trust him against this Spanish guy he also sounds very driven, his life story sounded **** when I listened to it

Still waiting for two MMA fight academy guys fights to be announced

Match principali

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 221st

Hazan vs Loughran

Leon Aliu vs Darren Stewart

Michelangelo Lupoli vs Sam Creasy

Carlo Pedersoli vs Gianni Bachar

Jasmine Favero vs Izabela Wackzack

Match dell accademy

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 221st

Yoga Prabowo vs Jefferson De Filippis

Edoardo Caiazza vs Marko Sarasjarvi

Khadim Dia vs Alfonso Cabral

Jovidon Khojaev vs Emanuele Sabatino

Francesco Mazzeo vs Joan Arastrey

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 221st

Emanuele Zaccaria vs Sylwester Miller

Tanio Pagliariccio vs Gerardo Fanny

Guido Possidente vs Gianluca Rocca

Simone Patrizi vs Ermil Xhaferi

Alessandro Giordano vs Enrico Di Gangi

Nuovi match aggiunti!

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 221st

Dario Bellandi vs Daniel Karlsson

Cornelius Aritonang vs Gianluca Ancora

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 15 Winners, 0 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 180th

Hazan vs. Loughran
Caolan Loughran, TKO, R4
Probably one of the best fight that can happen in Europe with 2 really high level ground games. I give Hazan a slight edge there, but I trust Caolan cardio and TDD to hold Hazan. I also think that the hostile environment will feed Caolan´s ambitions and this may become the birthplace of a new international star

Lupoli vs. Creasey
Michelangelo Lupoli, TKO, R3
Creasy is the most skilled fighter, but that chin isn´t holding as much as it used to, I expect Lupoli to score a knockdown and finish the fight

Favero vs. Walczak
Jasmine Favero, DEC
Good WMMA fight, the winner will help raise her stock

Bellandi vs. Karlsson
Dario Bellandi, SUB, R2
Bellandi always finds a way

Caiazza vs. Sarasjärvi
Edoardo Caiazza, TKO, R2
Caiazza is one of the top italian prospects, this should be a good one

International star? Lets not get too far ahead, he has some good wins but is still largely untested by real elite killers... He is protected within the western circles of MMA but I favor many no name Dagestani's or Russians to beat him on a decision, he is probably tough to finish... Maybe other unknown competitors too... His younger brother who is also highly touted lost a decision to a 19 year old prospect last time, and Team Kaobon have had good results, but im not sure its the place where he can train to get his very best results of anywhere in the world...

Though I think Kaobon has good striking coaches thats their base and they have wrestling connections via Mike Grundy so I am maybe being too critical, and he seems very motivated... I doubt he loses this title fight anyway

@WastelandWanderer He has the potential, if he wins this he is going to UFC and I really think he can become a draw similar to Paddy if he gets built properly

Caolan can actually wrestle, something most in the uk cant do. I think he’s got a very bright future

Where did he learn to wrestle though with Mike Grundy and people he knows? There is at least 2 wrestling clubs in Northern Ireland but I dont know how high level they are or not... They will need to prepare him alot with north England wrestlers like Charlie Bowling or Mike Grundy or others to get him ready for UFC level

If you’ve watched his fights it’s pretty evident he can wrestle. He’s got really good hips, a great sprawl, really good balance & a strong center of gravity. I remember hearing on a cw show that he grew up wrestling as well. His short and stocky style already makes it hard to take him down but the fact that he can actually wrestle helps him out a lot. Also, hazans wrestling is overrated. He isn’t as good without the size advantage (used to be a 125er) and has only beaten cans. He also only has wrestling to speak of, no striking whatsoever
