It's a big risk considering that Burns comes with a quick return after Masvidal fight (3 round fights) and Belal took the spot in short notice. But if it's a 5 Round Co-Main, it's very likely that the winner will have a guaranteed title shot and some circumstances could lead the winner of this fight to be the next challenger against Leon Edwards.

Padilla is a future top contender

Some tapology ppl keep ****ting on Erosa, like he's some type of can with glass chin. You'll realize soon how good of a striker Padilla is, other than his ridiculously good and unorthodox ground game, and how hard and precise his strikes are, when he destroys some good contenders in the next couple years. Julian's chin is great, he just takes too many risks and fights with reckless abandoned, and keeps fighting some of the most talented and craftiest prospects/contenders in the division (Woodson, Caceres, etc)
