Coker did the rankings to try to give more legitimacy to matchmaking and that people will stop seeing Bellator as a can-crushing fest. To this day he continues to do his missmatches or shameless can-crushing, Coker has tried to compete with the UFC, for today PFL has surpassed them as the second best MMA promotion and worldwide ONE is above Bellator and if Sakakuraba were More attentive Rizin could easily surpass Bellator in terms of quality.
