Ruchała vs. Śmiełowski
Dawid Śmiełowski, TKO, R3
Noway Smielowski is my favorite active Polish fighter other than Pudzian, I cant remember what one now but I saw him in a proper nuts fight in KSW, this guy is a champion I think, and 6 ft 1 rangey featherweight who strikes good, and has a ton of grit, you need to take this guy down ha or chop his legs telling you, he is good... He may beat up Norman Parke if KSW want to make that superfight, or it would be close... It will be either close or Smiel smashes him

Ugonoh vs. Sarara
Tomasz Sarara, TKO, R1

Tomasz Sarara vs Izu Ugonoh is not happening. Confirmed by Ugonoh himself. Ugonoh : "Me and Tomasz Sarara were waiting a long time for KSW's decision and even though there were rumors, the fight is not happening" said Ugonoh when responding to a comment on Instagram

https://mobile.twitter.com/KSW_MMA/status/1625166078648233984 : Janur vs Vrtacćic added, unfortunately I have little to no insight. Janur is that type of fighter from who you should expect low fight IQ, 0 calculation. Just wild swings

One question though: why are they fighting for an interim title? Is Salahadine injured?

Lightweight title unification bout is first in line, to keep the division afloat KSW are making Interim title bout between Śmiełowski and Ruchała. Also I saw on mma.pl that Rutkowski went "crying" on Kanał Sportowy's Oktagon live show that he isn't the one opposing Ruchała. But tbh Im happy that he went crying cause basicly shows how truly unprofessional he is and we won't see him anytime soon, at least I hope so, thats all controversies about the KSW decision to match Ruchała and Śmiełowski. Now we go to evaluate this fight in perspective : God ******* damnit this matchup is so unpredictable. And I litteraly cannot call anyone in this fight a lock. At KSW 78 my only 2 TRUE locks were Materla and Szymański, I expect this fight to be exactly like 78 card, we may go to conclussion here and there but after all it will be hard to pin down a TRUE LOCK. And I hope this isn't the bout where Śmiełowski is losing to suddenly pull out the UNO Reverse card and finishes Ruchała last possible second. But if the fight goes to distance. I hope that judge Łukasz Porębski will finally get fired as he was supposed to be after KSW 75

Holy **** same. I thought I was the only one who wanted that matchup. Maybe we can get Gnidko vs Mezhiev instead and the winner fights Sy for a title shot?

Not unlikely. If Gnidko would be fan favourite (I mean in Poland) he'd probably get rushed into titleshot, by pairing him vs Erslan for title eliminator, but as of now I cannot say its unlikely. It all depends if Oumar Sy remains with KSW, because as far as I remember he wasn't rly keen on staying in KSW. And as we know KSW likes just not resigning some good fighters or cutting them [Kleber Koike Erbst (cut), Marcin Wrzosek (cut), Michał Kita after KSW 39 (cut), Aslambek Saidov, Alexandar Ilić and Abus(unanimously decided to end the contract)] so lets hope that Sy got a good offer from KSW and we'll see Gnidko vs Sy happen as a title eliminator

I just realised that Piwowarczyk is fighting Gładkowicz, yikes. Not only Gładkowicz has a good movement but his grappling overall is good enough to make it hard for Piwo to sub him and for the striking? Yeah forget. If Piwowarczyk was ever winning striking exchanges he would have to change camps from Red Drag to Arrachion Olsztyn or wherever is Robert Jocz coaching (He left WCA now Anzor Azhiev is the head coach there, but he has Russian passport so basicly Jan Błachowicz's head coach for Ankalaev fight was his brother in-law Łukasz "Juras" Jurkowski). Gładkowicz is a safer bet by far.

Eskijev is big underdog due to fact that Ruchała is one of the top Polish prospects (Śmiełowski Soldaev and Kaczmarczyk are up there too, there are few other p4p prospects in Poland worth looking at such as Kamil Oniszczuk who recently signed up with Bellator after finding some success in ACA where there are little to no bums so to speak, and KSW was trying to get him into MW division but he got 7x better deal from Bellator, Kevin Szaflarski who unfortunately pulled out of DWCS, the only thing I can say about him is Marian Ziołkowski's anecdote, baiscly when he trained in Jackson Wink with Jones, JJ could not take him down and Szaflarski is a BIG Heavyweight, he cuts weight to reach 265lbs, and Michał Oleksiejczuk's younger brother Cezary is also noteworthy, especially after he and his brother switched clubs from Akademia Sportów Walki Wilanów to Ankos MMA Poznań) also I didn't see that you mentioned Norman Parke. Parke was cut from KSW after his loss to Borys Mańkowski at Fame MMA 11, and so cut was also Marcin Wrzosek after Fame MMA 12 after his loss to Kasjusz Życiński

I'll be going with Ruchała, Leśko (Breese is safer bet), Sy, Gładkowicz, Korziorzębski, Kazieczko, Kvelidze (due to how much punches Michalski is blocking with his head on a regular basis) and rest of the fights Im not rly sure. Also disclaimer the guys that I pick aren't fullproof locks. Breese for example has striking edge over Leśko and he avoided being taken down by Janikowski in the 1st round which is hella impressive. And Michalski has his freaky durability that makes him come back to the fight. And in Piwo vs Gładkowicz of course once the fight goes to the ground Piwowarczyk has a huge submission threat, but he's coming of an absolutely brutal KO loss to Bohdan Gnidko. And Ruchała vs Eskijev is a 50/50, both are absolutely ready for a dog fight and thats what we gonna get, an absolute dog fight where it comes down who has bigger heart.

Predictions: 4 of 9 Winners, 0 Perfect, 215 Points   |   Tied for 395th

Ruchała vs. Eskijew
Lom-Ali Eskijew, DEC
Eskijew is one of my favorite fighters on the regional scene. He is very talented. I also thought he won his last fight

Leśko vs. Breese
Tom Breese, SUB, R2
Breese got really unlucky last fight. Should’ve been a dq win but it is what it is. He should win this one pretty easily; I think he’s just simply the better fighter

Henrique da Silva vs. Sy
Oumar Sy, TKO, R2
I’ve been very impressed with sy as a prospect. He’s got one of the biggest frames I’ve seen for a lhw and is a naturally very good athelte. His level of competition is also very strong. Da silva is a tough ex ufc fighter with strong ko power, but he’s still really beatable. I think a younger and bigger guy is gonna give him a lot of issues

Piwowarczyk vs. Gładkowicz
Damian Piwowarczyk, DEC
Piwow is on the verge of being a total fraud. Hopefully he can win this one

Kazieczko vs. Tarchila
Wojciech Kazieczko, DEC
Interested to see how tarchila looks. It’s hard to trust fighters from the Moldovan regional scene but 5-1 at 19 is impressive
