I actually would be really interested to see how mix would do in the ufc. He’s a gigantic bw in terms of his frame and is an elite level grappler. I think he would be in the title mix

I am really wondering why they don't practice lateral movement against wrestlers.

Velasquez just goes straight back. No side stepping or different movement patterns. 

I swear I would be a better coach than half these fools

Sergio Pettis is champion. Do you remember what rob Font did to him? They aren’t close the the ufcs bantamweights unfortunately. I do think Pettis and kyoji would be top 5 at flyweight still though. They would actually match up well with Moreno, pantoja and Kai

It's crazy because with the evolution of MMA many techniques tend to be useless, in the past Royce Gracie finished his opponents with the Lapel Choke (currently no one can be subdued with that technique), With the Von Flue Choke, Side Slams or takedowns to the legs pulling the guillotine to a Takedown attempt should be less and less a thing in MMA, but as long as there are still Sloppy Takedown attempts or Wrestlers who don't care about their head position when looking for takedowns (the Magomedov's case) there will be still finishes by guillotines of this style.
