Who gives a **** what his opponents are ranked now? He fought them when they were ranked high and that's all that matters. Using that logic, Liddell sucks, Sakurai sucks, Aoki sucks, Hughes sucks, etc.

Rogers was top 10 in 09 and AA was NUMBER 2  in 09. That's a little over two years ago, can you not count? Also, name 10 heavyweights with 2 ranked wins in the last 2~~ years, I'll be waiting.

I'm sorry Messiah, you post here a lot so I try to like you, but this is one of the worst posts I've ever read on here or anywhere else. Very ignorant, and I don't think you're an ignorant guy.

Well when Anik obviously created this thread to try an illicit a reaction from me because we were discussing Fedor in another thread. I decided to give him one. I just think it's funny that like I said, this guy wasn't even watching MMA when Fedor fought Werdum for crying out loud. But yet he argues with people about his opinions like they are facts and he's some expert on the subject. I certainly wouldn't walk into a car shop and start arguing with all the mechanics on the best way to fix cars if I just picked up a wrench for the first time a month before. 

In the world of theMMAmessiah, Pride was never the big league, Tim Sylvia wasn't a top 5 heavyweight when they fought in 2009 (despite just losing to Big Nog for the Interim title, who by the way, never won against Fedor in 3 fights), Andrei Arlovski wasn't a top 10 heavyweight when they fought in 2009, Brett Rogers wasn't a top 10 heavyweight when they fought in 2009, Mark Coleman wasn't a top 10 heavyweight when they fought in 2006, Heath Herring wasn't a top 10 heavyweight when they fought in 2002, Kevin Randleman wasn't a top 10 heavyweight when they fought in 2004 and Mirko Cro Cop wasn't a top 5 heavyweight when they fought in 2005.

Oh and that scrub named Brett Rogers who dominated the first round against Fedor? Ya, he KO-ed Andrei Arlovski before that fight. The same Andrei Arlovski who was, wait for it..THE UFC INTERIM HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION WHILE FEDOR WAS IN PRIDE. The other UFC heavyweight champion at the time? TIM SYLVIA, WHO GOT KTFO by Fedor.

Here's the thing though "theMMAmessiah", if the mechanics were paraplegics with IQs of 60, then helping them fix cars would be a very nice thing to do on my part.

@Anik Pride was NEVER the big league. All PRIDE was, was Japanese professional wrestling with closed fist punching. 

Looks like Fedor is one of the most sensitive subjects on this site.  All I know about him is what I've seen on his highlights, and it seemed like when he was in his prime he was definitately a huge force and a great fighter.

Ignore K1, it's not even a question of opinion.  Pride was the big league, fact.
