Think I gotta go against the Tapology grain on this one. It's a super 50/50 fight but Zorrilla has the better amateur background by far so I'll take the dog in this one. He also arguably has more power. Gonna be interesting for sure.

Barboza Jr. vs. Zorrilla

Well matched fight here. Both guys on the fringes of contention, Barboza is ranked in the TBRB (the best, most impartial boxing ranks) and Ring Magazine top 10, Zorrilla , I imagine, is right on the fringes (around 15-20) and, IMO, Zorrilla has the best wins on his record. Madiyev is a good win but KO'ing Cano in 2 rounds is very impressive!! Barboza has some good wins too, Alvarado, Moran and Saucedo being his best. I am finding it hard to separate these 2. Tapology, for some reason(probably because he has more wins?) heavily favours Barboza. The bookies are a better gauge of how close this fight is, they have Barboza a very slight favourite at around -150. I think the difference in this fight is going to be punch power. Both guys look equally strong and look to hit about the same power but Zorrilla is for sure the better finisher. It's not like Barboza is a far better technician who is going to outbox and outpoint his way to a decision win. Again, this is a very close fight, I have to chose somebody tho! So I'm going with the better finisher to get a mid to late round stoppage!

Robert Garcia has some exciting young prospects in his stable. At the top of the list is Bam Rodriguez, Vergil Ortiz and Jose Ramirez there's also Joshua Franco and a couple of Mexicans to look out for Lindolfo Delgado and Misael Rodriguez. Flown under the radar a little is Raymond Muratalla, he is the typical Garcia fighter, solid fundamentals, great conditioning and very offensive, always looking for the KO!!!! Muratalla has been ona great run of spectacular KO's on Top Rank under cards. Feels like he is close to getting that step up in competition soon, Keep a look out for Muratalla
