Soldic vs RDR was the first thing that came to my mind but that's not gonna happen, they're way too far apart in weight. Welter/middleweight fighting a LHW/heavy? Would be a hell of a freak show but I doubt it's a good fight, RDR's too big

One weight classes are also 10 pounds lighter than their counterparts because of the weight cutting rules; he will likely fight at 185, which is 170 in ONE

No, he is a middleweight. He primarily fights there. He is a 185 and 205 champ, not 205 and 265

No. Bruh. You literally said it yourself. RDR is a ONE MIDDLEWEIGHT. That's 205 pounds. Light heavyweight is 225, and heavyweight is above. He has literally never fought at 185 and said himself after beating the 185 champ Abbasov "I could never make 185, I'd have to cut a leg off. He can keep his belt down there"

I kid I kid, but yeah it's kinda stupid. Sorry to rain on the parade, I really wanted to see that matchup too cause I personally think Soldic rolls through the current champs in his weight classes, but eh. RDR has his plate full with Malykhin (or Bhullar I guess) and there's a couple contenders at 185 to keep Roberto busy

The issue with ONE is they don't keep their fighters busy enough, even their champions. Like Adriano Moraes has fought 3 times since 2019 and Abbasov has fought twice since 2020. I think a lot of it has to do with that they have short cards and a massive roster with MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing but it's really annoying for a fan.

That’s true, they’re getting better as they expand the roster but still. Like Buchecha is gonna be on his 3rd or 4th fight this year, and jarred brooks was gonna have his third. Their biggest stars never fight tho which sucks; besides Rodtang lol

Who's ******a? Also the more I think about this move the more it sucks. Best competition my ass. Stop spewing generic corporate ******** out of your ass Robocop. I'm not gonna complain because there are certainly good match ups and this is a huge acquisition for ONE, but man even Bellator would've been better. At least then he could've fought Yaroslav (he lost to him early on his career and I think he could probably beat him now-a-days). Still, this is better than resigning with the promotion he's currently in that has nothing to offer him but money like a certain someone we know cough cough KAYLA HARRISON cough
