I think his contract ran out and he was a free agent. No idea why they decided to give him another fight tho

I feel like there are better welterweights to sign than holding onto Mickey Gall who hasn't fought in 2 years. There is a dude named Jacobe Smith that just knocked out his last opponent in 2 seconds that hardcore MMA fans are calling for the UFC to sign. There's also imo the best unsigned fighter right now in Joilton Lutterbach. I know he's been bouncing around combat sports, but I'm confident to say that he's better than at least 80% of the current UFC welterweights

You can't be serious. Lutterbach is not that good. He lost both of his only two PFL fights at LW and made them both extremely boring. Also, he's 38-10 and the definition of a journeyman. Apart from maybe like Kiefer Crosby, I doubt he wins any UFC fight.

@AyyLmaonnaise . With PFL revealing the Bellator schedule besides the last card. What are the odds that because the last event is on New Years Eve, they hold that one in Japan? It would hold with the international events that they are doing for Bellator.

Jacobe smith is a lock for dwcs this year so he will get a shot regardless, joilton on the other hand is just a journeyman with a flashy record; he’s not good

@random I think that’s a big possibility, especially when you consider that the guy mansour barnaoui is fighting, is a rizin fighter. I know sakakibara was open to continuing Bellator and rizins relationship even with the merger
