October would be the other with Spain being early October and Abu Dhabi late October, if this schedule is what they go through with.

Cool for Faber to headline his own show, but he is definitely going to get a lay-up fight, lets see.

Believe it or not he's still on the UFC roster, according to the roster.watch website, and his presence years after his last fight has been pointed out by different media people over the years.

Why do they insist on coming back to Utah lol? Mexico city is understandable even though it's at high altitude because well it's Mexico and most of the people in the country live in that absolutely enormous city.
Seems like getting entertaining fights and high altitude isn't a good mix where it can be avoided.

Site fees and other guaranteed monies. They have a multi-event deal with the arena's owner who also has a connection to Silver Lake iirc, which as a reminder is the private equity firm that owns Endeavor.

SLC paid ufc for a multi-year deal that says they have to bring a ppv there once a year for a few years. I don’t mind it too much because even tho the elevation sucks, the two ppvs they have brought there have been ******* awesome

Ufc just officially announced august 3 is the return to Abu Dhabi (not a ppv though, that one likely comes in october)

@AyyLmaonnaise . Yeah UFC must do 4 Mena shows per year per their agreement. So that makes 2 Abu Dhabi and 1 Saudi Arabia this year. 1 still unknown.

Lots of people moving to Utah. Huge sports fan base there. They'll probably have an NHL franchise within the next ~10 years or so to join the Utah Jazz. Absolutely a market the UFC has to be in right now.

@foppa lots of businesses moving to SLC as well. It’s becoming a pretty popular city to live in, I think it’s part of the states plan to get more tourism with sporting events

Mix really needs to be in the UFC. Not sure why they’re doing a Magomedov rematch when the first fight wasn’t even close. There’s nothing left for him over there.

@sexy Beefer all I said was he should go to the ufc because he is ufc level, didn’t call him a top 15 guy but he can absolutely beat a lot of guys in the ufc. 170 is stacked but it’s got its fair share of cans
