I missed it last night, but per the lfa broadcast, Lucas Fernando will be on dwcs. I believe his opponent will be Cesar almeida, but can’t confirm that for a fact. Fernando is a very good prospect. Large frame and insane cardio

I believe I have solved the Samandar murodov mystery. He recently uploaded a post saying he has a wrestling match coming up. In the caption, he said quote “we decided to participate in this match because we don’t know when we will be able to perform (in the ufc)… since I am waiting for my visa and offical contract with the ufc” 

So, it sounds like the ufc will sign him, but he is waiting for his visa & then will receive the official contract to become a ufc fighter

I don’t know too much about those visa things but isn’t he able to perform for example on abu dhabi card?
I also wonder how many more fighters would be signed by ufc immediately if they have visas.

I believe he would still need a valid work visa to work anywhere else that’s not Tajikistan (I think). By the way he’s talking it also seems like he needs a visa to be signed as it is. Either way, the ufc doesn’t really like signing guys with visa issues because then they have to jump through hoops to get them to fight. The reason they keep people like this (abus, mustafaev, etc.) is due to good management; I’m sure murodov doesn’t have a top name managing him so that’s why he’s in limbo currently. But, it does sound like he will be signed once this is resolved

I guess we will never see Takahashi in ufc because of that bellator and rizin crossover. At least for a long time. If he wins bellator will pay him much more than ufc would. If he looses ufc won’t be interested to sign him anymore

Yeah I think he’s content fighting in japan sadly. Hopefully he comes overseas but I think he’s more likely to stay

btw anybody knows how much fighters get for competing in rtu? I can’t believe ufc offered contract to Kazama but not Yi Zha  who was robbed. And we all know ufc loves Chinese fighters.

If they are going to do rtu 2024 they need to change some weight classes. Also they are running out of undefeated indonesia champions.

Kazama said something about k*lling himself after the fight. I think that's why dana signed him(if he did, no sure)

It’s not, the account that posted that is a troll account. Wouldn’t be shocked if that’s who he fights tho. It’s likely hermansson, dolidze, or Brunson. Out of the current ranked mws, those are the only three not booked (kg isn’t booked but he’s moving to 170)
