Finally, 1 of the two bonfim bros are back, this is a layup imo but we'll see how Giles tests the, in my opinion, fishy striking defense of Gabriel

I doubt he does much. Giles is super talented but makes lots of mistakes. Also he’s suuuuper chinny at 170

I mean bonfim has pretty shifty defense as it is so wouldn’t shock me to see trevin touch him up. It comes with his style; he tries to take your head off & doesn’t care if he gets hit. That’s why I don’t think he’s as good as his brother; still an awesome fighter tho

Flyweight can be pretty shallow like heavyweight if I remember, whereas bantamweight is a huge stacked division now, but maybe it will give more guys who can make that weight a chance to shine and get paid so its good, flyweights who cant make it in the UFC can maybe get a 2nd chance in Bellator or bring in some Japanese flyweights they have many of them... I actually know what could be a good flyweight prospect who will likely be going pro soon I will get him in next year's prospect parlay GP if there is one

I'm sure its old new but Roosevelt Roberts is on a trajectory back to UFC with some free training and experience on the Ultimate Fighter SSN 31.
I felt he got cut a little soon but maybe he never made a big enough impression in one of the most competitive divisions.

Well he’s on tuf rn. I doubt he won the show because the cast this year is stacked. Also the way his ufc tenure ended was pretty embarassing; had some really bad performances

I think he’s injured. Also has beef with pfl. They will sit guys who don’t want to fight in regular season

Is the UFC going to start making major cuts? There's dudes like Collier and Sherman that are still on the roster when they shouldn't be. Jamie Pickett is still on the roster for some reason too. Sato and Filaho probably should be cut from welterweight. Erick Gonzalez is still on the roster for some reason. Amirkhani nor Shane Young has any business being on the roster. For bantamweight, Journey Newsom, Danaa, and Aaron Phillips should all be cut.
