I said it during the rumors about asu & Azat being signed, but I really think the ufc is gearing up for a return to Central Asia. The emergence of Shavkat really opened up the UFC’s eyes; and as a result we now have asu & Azat, with more potentially on the way (Sora, kabardiev, diyar). Furthermore, we now have 4 Tajiks on the roster when just 5 months ago we had 0. We’ve already had a plethora of chechens and dagis but the ufc seems to want to sign more as we’ve just heard with the rumors of dulatov, shaykaev, and baysangur. I think a ufc Kazakhstan is totally possible since damir is back and Shavkat is now a known name. Think they could pull off a banging event too

Since Eagle fc is kind of in limbo rn I assume renat will be vying for the ufc. He seems like a no brainer; would run through 135 until he makes the rankings

I know Khabib said he wanted Khavalov in the UFC in one of his post Octagon speeches, but it seemed like he wanted him to mature a little still. That was a year or two ago though. For Brazilians I'm still waiting on Jean Matsumoto and Felipe Lima. I've been really bummed how few of these types of guys have been announced for DWCS.
