I just don’t think you can kept losing fights and still be elite, you can make excuses for his loses but he still losing, I don’t think he can have a career change,’ and get a a run and beat a few top guys

And I think the top 5 at welterweight is better then Till,Cannonor and Hermanson

gastelum in that 1st round against curtis looked absolutely elite, one of the most surprising reforms/turnarounds in movement and style of fighting i've seen in a while

the question is if he can keep the movement and pace he kept in that 1st round for the whole fight. IMO with the discipline in fight camps, training regime, dieting and weight cutting that Fight Ready provides I think there's a pretty good chance he can pull it off. if he does, he's a huge problem for everyone in the top 5

I think Chris Curtis made Kelvin look good also, Curtis made Jack Hermanson look like Adesanya,

except hermansson just jabbed and circled away and looked good while gastelum played into curtis' own game of engaging in the pocket and throwing combinations and managed to look good

I don't think Gastelum had a choice, he's a 5'7 Mw, it's fight in the pocket or go the **** home for him.

He can be a problem at 170. Curtis was the first person his size Kelvin has fought in like 4-5 years, and he looked amazing. Fight ready is a really good gym for getting weight down (they’ve helped ceerod make weight when he struggled at other times) & they’re also a good gym for game planning. Kelvin has always had all the skills, but the discipline is what’s held him back from achieving his potential. He seems to be in a good mindset now & with this camo seitch I think he can do a lot at 170

Bobby Green raised a good point about Felder's commentary. I think Felder is decent at his job, but I felt like he is the worst when it comes to emotional bias. He always praises the people he trains with and only acknowledges the other fighter when they do something spectacular against them. Otherwise, all he talks about is his friends and training partners

@piggy yeah her ground game is atrocious, but this isn’t gonna go the ground. Also, it’s at 125, julija might die at weigh ins before she even makes it to fight night. She’s a massive girl, should not be fighting at flyweight. She passed out on the scale last time she fought at this weight

Also julija is armbar or bust, not a full on grappler, which is where Molly struggles. Julija doesn’t have good enough wrestling to get this to the ground an expose her

The reason why Julija has passed out on the scales was not because of hard weight cutting. She made the weight too early and had to wait for too long. She has never missed the weight. I don’t think 125 gonna be the problem

Well yeah, but she was still hella dehydrated which is my point. She can’t safely make the weight. No matter how long you’re waiting, you shouldn’t be fainting on the scales. Plus, if she made weight why wait so long to weigh in?
