I'm not a lawyer and I have zero legal experience, but from what I've seen in the original video, and the new one posted by Ariel Helwani today, I can't see how Nate is at fault. The entire time he's running away from the guy and he's being chased down, then when he's cornered he defends himself and walks away from everything. Like to me it seems that even if they wanted to argue "Nate started it" in the two videos posted Nate is clearly getting away so all I can see is him just using self-defense.

incredibly close fight against the goat of the division israel
incredibly close fight against prime till
incredibly close fight against cannonier whos a top contender right now having beat brunson and strickland
random sub loss to hermansson
clear loss to whittaker whos one of the mw greats and currently the clear cut #1 contender in the division by far
jdm is really good but untested, its unfair to be comparing him to a savvy vet who has fought everyone in gastelum, i think gastelum at fight ready could edge out close decisions against colby, burns and belal in 3 round fights
it's really fluid and i think with a bit of luck he could make top 5

@baremaras
170lbs is significantly deeper than 185lbs. Gastelum might only be 31 but I've noticed a visible slow down from him and he's taken a lot of damage, he's likely out of his prime at this point. He just fought Chris Curtis and if it wasn't for the headbutt likely lost that decision, Curtis also a former WW who wasn't exactly able to make waves in that division. The sad thing is, if Kelvin got his **** together and stayed at 170lbs when he was young I think he coulda been a champ and gave guys like Colby, Usman and Leon some real damn issues but I also think that ship has sailed. Plus,n who's to know if he even actually makes the weight.
