i think most people will want the brady match up so that we get to see jdm's grappling being "tested" in live action but I feel like if geoff neal has recovered and has his **** together for a potential fight on ufc 290, it would be better and more competitive

sean brady reacts very badly to getting touched up and his nose/orbital gets injured way too easily to last against JDM. he might give him a bit of trouble in round 1 but as soon as rounds 2 and 3 come around, I think brady gasses and JDM takes over

geoff neal vs jdm on the other hand is guaranteed fight of the night material and we will get to see how jdm reacts when someone with considerable power touches him up a bit

Geoff Neal needs to take some time off and get a bounce back fight, that was a really rough war he went through vs Shavkat and I know he'd struggled with illness in the past and apparently had a rough camp.

Fights like Brady vs Jack are fine at telling us things, if Jack gets taken down repeatedly or controlled while Brady is fresh but then is able to come on and turn it around in r2 or r3 after Brady fades, it let's us, Jack and his team know they need to do some serious work before facing the Burns, Colby, Usman type guys of the world most likely. If Jack can effectively thwart off the takedowns or keep getting back up effectively while Brady is fresh it'll tell us a lot too.

Jack vs Neal is fine though, so is Jack vs Luque or Chiesa. Just glad he's staying super active. I know Rinat Fakhretdinov also has a fight announce coming up for around this date too, I assume it's not Jack since it wouldn't make sense but if it somehow was I'd be down for that too.

My hunch about josh van being on dwcs was correct. Per the fury fc broadcast he will he competiting this year

I also found out a while ago but forgot to mention that Josefinne Knutsson will also be on dwcs this year

Another announcement from fury, Edgar Chairez will be getting another shot. He’s not very good, but is super exciting. You may remember him from last season when he gave Clayton a much harder fight than anticipated. He also was the winner of that viral submission where he almost killed a guy due to poor reffing

I am catching up with what happened this weekend since I only really watch UFC live as of late with occasionally watching LFA, but this dude Joilton Lutterbach seems solid. He is switching back and forth from kickboxing to MMA and only recent losses are to Dricus Du Plessis and two split decisions against solid veterans in the PFL and has gone 4-0 since. He's only 30 as well and has 48 fights which is absurd

Paulo costa saying on mma hour that him vs Chimaev is pretty much happening. The one hold up is he’s requesting to either fight once before October or get paid to wait that long to fight. So either way, the fight will happen in Abu Dhabi this year
