Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

Aliaskhab should be at WW and isn't one of the better Russian MWs to pick up, didn't like how he looked on the contender series either, if he drops in weight, maybe. Timur Khizriev, Bibert Tumenov, Alikhan Suleymanov, Evgeniy Ignatiev and Islam Omarov would probably all be ranked pretty easily at 145lbs in the UFC. UFC sucks at signing Russians since they can't offer them peanuts and Russia has home grown promotions that are a lot bigger than feeder ones who value their athletes.  

Less sold on Shamil Gasanov, just hasn't fought the same level of competition but he was an elite prospect who is training partners with Islam Omarov that OneFC snatched up recently. Very very good.

Damir ismagulov’s manager said in an interview that damir hasn’t asked the ufc to be released yet. It seems he may have “retired” in a heat of the moment decision. He probably just needs to take time off for health issues 

I understand that Glover just retired, but that decision is definitely permanent, so I don't understand why they kept him the rankings. I may be being a little impatient, but I'm curious if they are going to put Azamat or Ulberg in that extra spot now. My guess is Azamat, but I think they should put Ulberg or Kennedy instead tbh

UFC rankings don´t make sense, they still have RDA at lightweight

According to John Morgan jailton has joined the rankings at 14th following glovers retirement 

He'll be ranked at heavyweight too considering he just beat the number 15 guy 

Volkov vs Romanov March 11th. That seems like a huge step up for Romanov considering he lost to tybura 

Would love to see Almeida vs. Azamat at some point 

need to look into that matchup a bit more but volkov being effortlessly taken down by aspinall and effortlessly controlled for 20 out of 25 minutes on the ground by blaydes is definitely a worrying sign for this matchup

granted aspinall has some of the slickest striking into grappling transitions and blaydes has some of the most suffocating top control but still

The issue with Romanov is he has no cardio. Now I know his last fight was due to altitude but the way he fights just doesn’t seem sustainable for him. Even with the weight loss. If his cardio has actually improved then he should beat volkov 

Romanov would be a contender if he had good cardio but unfortunately he’s got 1 round cardio of smesh. After that he slows down considerably

Dan Hooker vs Jalin Turner at ufc 285

That’s a good fight but yikes for hooker

Probably the most winnable stylistically out of the top 15 for Hooker though. I'll be cheering for Hooker.

Godamn I love the man but Hooker seems like a great fight for Jalin in most apsects

Woulda made more sense to do Turner vs Dober and Moicano vs Hooker since those are the fights they all asked for...

I think it's going to be ugly for Hooker. Turner has the power advantage, and Hooker is more of a volume guy. Unless Turner's chin is absolute dog****, Hooker definitely can't go one for one with Turner
