Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

Sam patterson vs Yanal ashmoz ufc 286. Still confused as to why they signed ashmoz. Must want to give patterson an easy win

Light heavyweight division is kind of interesting now. I think Jiri and Jamahal probably are going to have at least 2 fights in the future. I think rn if anyone could beat those 2, it would be Ank, but he put up a stinker against Jan, so it is hard to tell with that. Khalil Rountree has potential, but I also think he got the same treatment as Cannonier against Strickland in the Dustin Jacoby fight. I think Alonzo Menifield finally figured it out, and if he can knock out Jimmy Crute, he could find his way fighting his former teammate in Spann or Johnny Walker to get into the top 10, but if he loses at all again, he's hit his ceiling. I think the loser of the Jacoby vs Azamat fight turns into a gatekeeper for the division until they go on a bad losing streak cause they both are in their mid 30s while the top are in their early 30s. I think Nicolae will bounce back from that brutal knockout cause he's only 28. My wildcards for the division are Kennedy and Ulberg since they are both young enough to make a couple of runs, but both have shown major flaws. I think that the Spann/Krylov fight will be a make-or-break fight for those 2. Jimmy Crute is still young and has the talent to figure it out, but it isn't his time yet. The dudes that I think will be cut by mid-2024 are Tafon, Lins, Prachnio, Cutelaba, and William Knight as long as they can get more talent. I think Jan, Grishin, OSP, and Gustafsson all retire by mid-2024 too, so they better find some good talent cause they only have signed a few LHWs as of late

pereira, whittaker and potentially muniz and strickland will be occupying some of the spots left open at 205 from dudes that will be retiring in 2024

as far as actual 205 talent, I think tyson pedro will end up being ranked in 2024 as well

he walks around 220 and is thick as ****, his chin might get cracked bad at 205 but it's not like he will look out of depth

it's not an entirely logical move on his part but if the ufc does pereira vs israel he's basically being forced out of the weight class, fighting strickland does nothing for his career and it's already been a long time since he's fought so he must be itching to get a fight in

Tyson will probably end up being ranked but I don’t have high hopes for him yet 

And Ulberg will make a splash at 205 this year. I think he’s actually very good. Same goes for kennedy he just needs to find his groove

Also there’s a guy in LFA, Bruno Lopes who is a top tier prospect for 205. Dude looks like a world beater. He will probably be on dwcs this year. I expect him to have success in the ufc

i've only ever watched his fight with robocop in preparation for 283 and trying to figure out if robocop's chin can't be counted on, funnily enough the opening sequence of that fight is robocop getting dropped with the exact same punch he got ko'd with last night, the straight left

just realized that fight was 9 years ago, that's ******* insane how young they both were back then and how relevant they've become now

Yeah pretty wild. He’s improved a lot since then. Bulked up to lhw and murdered everyone LFA has put in front of him. I thjnk he’s very good

Tyson Fury called out Francis for a fights in 4 once glove boxing , people dissing Francis, But Francis fighting the boxing champ will make him more then what he make in the ufc combined
