Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

I think Trizano's contract was up and they rather make room for cheaper featherweights on the roster. He'll probably go to Bellator or PFL tho and kill a majority of people there

Murzakanov vs Jacoby, niceeee. I think Jacoby mauls him for 3 rounds (well not mauls, but out strikes him with ease). Billy Q seems like a nice rebound win for Barboza, and it's a good fight regardless. Also all the cuts are justified except for the Trizano and Paiva ones. UFC gtfoh with that **** bruh. Release the guy who just LOST to Trizano, NOT HIM. That's definitely a contract not being renewed situation

Idk I think billy q has a very hard time with barboza. He’s one of those fighters who is super dominant against unranked competition, but can’t beat anyone top 15 level. I hate to use mma math, but given the style matchups of both Burgos and billy q, and seeing how easily barboza beat burgos, it makes me think Edson should take this one relatively easy. Then again he could just end up being totally washed and ends up getting broken billy q style. If that is to happen, billy q is gonna have to go to hell and back because from a technical standpoint Edson is just much better

Dude I'm in agreement. I said Quarantillo should be an easy rebound win for Barboza lol, I think you may have misread. I think Edson takes this one lol

It's kind of hard to tell with Billy Q. I'm not sure how Barboza's cardio holds up nowadays, but I think if Billy Q holds him against the cage and wears on Edson's muscles, drag him down, and then make it a sloppy brawl in the 3rd, he has a chance to win it

he definitely has a chance, I can see a world where he breaks barboza but seems really unlikely. I don't think billy's wrestling is on a good enough level to take down Edson. Plus he's likely gonna get into a firefight with Edson which he just won't win

Also, just a thought, but I think Tsarukyan vs Gamrot 2 for the end of spring would actually make a lot of sense. Benny is probably going to get matched up with Poirier, and Fiziev is already matched up with Gaethje. I think they should do Moicano vs Hooker. The only other matchup that makes sense for Gamrot is Turner, which would leave Tsarukyan to Charlie Olives, I guess. Dober is probably going to get short end of the stick and have to fight one more unranked opponent. My guess is either Klose (if he is healthy) or Mike Davis. Lightweight is weird cause RDA and Ismagulov shouldn't be in the rankings anymore, so Paddy Pimblett and either McKinney (if he wins) or Davis will probably end up in the rankings

Oliveira is most likely fighting Dariush, maybe as a main event for the San Anotonio card. Arman should fight Poirier or Chandler, he deserves a step up

Chandler is literally waiting for McGregor, and he ain't fighting Arman if Dana is openly wants to wait for Conor. Poirier might refuse to fight anyone but Benny after that whole skirmish with him. I don't think Poirier will accept the fight against Arman anyways. He might even go up to welterweight to fight someone with a bigger name and avoid everyone at lightweight

Poirier won’t even fight Benny lol. He was asked about him after 281 and he said nah he’s boring essentially. He’s in the same boat as chandler where he only wants big money fights

Well too bad for them, they're gonna have to suck it up and start taking these fights or gtfoh out of the way. Gaethje used up all his "sit out and wait for a good fight" cards, and now Chandler has too. He's lucky he's being blessed with the Mcgregor fight here, cause after this he needs to fight an up and comer. Poirier has like 1 more of these "money fight" cards since he's been winning them, but he's also done it the most so he better get his ass to fighting a prospect after whatever his next fight is

Why is Chandler still #5? He literally beat Dan Hooker who was like #8 or something and Tony Ferguson who was #13 or something. There are a couple of unranked fighters that have better wins than he does. It's weird cause there's going to be a huge turnover in lightweight this year cause Drew Dober, Hooker, and RDA are probably going to drop from the rankings and Ismagulov retired. St. Denis, Mike Davis, Bahamondes (if he wins), and McKinney (if he wins) will probably all be there by the end of the year. Unfortunately, Paddy the Baddy will probably take one of their spots tho. Rafa Garcia has looked decent too and Uros Medic is probably close. Natan Levy is another that could get there but probably won't as long as he is with Syndicate. Oh, and Fares Ziam looked really good. My guess is St. Denis, McKinney, Paddy the Baddy (sigh), and Bahamondes will take the places of those 4. I just don't see Dober being ranked for long, but he's the only one that I can see still being ranked in 2024

BAHAHAHA LMAO 💀 You think Paddy Uros Medic and ******* NATAN LEVY are gonna be ranked??? 🤣🤣🤣
Bro, respect to your opinions, but those ****ters wouldn't even be ranked at heavyweight lmfao. McKinney's the only one I see with a chance there. MAYBE Paddy cause they're protecting him so much and will probably feed him the corpse of Tony Ferguson, but other than that no.
Guram is gonna be ranked whenever he fights again, hell even Moises if he gets another win. Someone like Joel Alvarez has potential, but Bahamondes??? Rafa Garcia is good and I think he has a chance, but I'd favor Klose to be ranked over him since Klose literally has a W over him. St Denis has potential but I think it's very unlikely than most of the guys you mentioned ever get ranked, especially not in the best division in the sport
