Yamasaki totally handled things wrong. He called the fight a TKO and changed his mind to DQ after the fact. If there is an illegal blow you call time out take a point away check the fighter. If the blow was unintentional as in this case it obviously was if it happened at all it's a NC. If the rule breaking was flagrant and intentional which it absolutely wasn't it's ruled a DQ. Yamasaki was wrong on so many levels in this it goes beyond not seeing an illegal blow or calling a fight early.
