He's actually really lucky that he didn't keep getting 1st round KOs.
He would have gotten a big fight and taken a bad beating!!!

Oh, so Berlanga is saying that "everyone is scared of me, everybody runs!"
Nothing to do with him not having any footwork, not knowing how to cut off the ring, throw a jab at different speeds/angles, maybe a combination??? No nothing to do with that! It's everybody running!!! Hahaha

Man, if he really believes that he is getting sparked out really soon!

Predictions: 8 of 8 Winners, 2 Perfect, 450 Points   |   Tied for 47th with 12 others

These last 2 fights ended Berlanga's hype (although I don't doubt that the media will continue to inflate him). The level of contender in this division is Daniel Jacobs, John Ryder, David Benavidez, David Lemieux, Rocky Fielding, Caleb Plant (almost all former world champions) and Berlanga is far from that level. Lots of hype for First Round KOs, but against opponents with good absorption to punches he can barely beat them by a small margin.

The best way I can think of describing it is that Edgar Berlanga is the boxing equivalent of Michael "Venom" Page. Lot's of impressive KO's at a glace but all against people who Ariel Helwani would let fix his garage.
