Jon Jones has been accused of having an ego in the past.......This video doesn't do much to change those views.  Listen to what Greg Jackson tells Jones to do after his victory over Machida last night.

That's not as much Jones' fault as it is Greg Jackson's.  But regardless, that was just dumb.

blame that on greg jackson. jones is still only 24 years old. thats what everybody likes to do build people up and then tear them down. since that can't find a flaw in jones game they have to resort to this. pathetic.

Its gross.  If your management has to coach you how to be a good person, its not a good sign.

What amazes me is how hypocritical some people can be.  Everyone knocks Jones for being "****y", but this guy is knocking off top competition within months of each other.  This is top 5 competition of the last 5 or 6 years.  However everyone loves Chael Sonnen.  Because clearly that guy isn't ****y, and he's ****y for all of the wrong reasons.

I respect Jones as a fighter, but I'll be one of the first cheering when he gets knocked on his ass.

JBJ will win 3 or 4 light heavyweight matches in a row and then moves to heavyweight. he already said it and said he has the right dietician. i believe he has two brothers who play in  the nfl and a big time college football program and they are huge guys so there is no doubt he could fight at around 245.

@wolf I don't really get the "his brothers are huge so he can be huge" thing.  Jones is smaller than his brothers and didn't become a football lineman like them because of it.

That said, he's still got a big enough frame to go to HW.  He won't be a huge HW but it will only take 10 pounds to be as big as Dos Santos.  Heck, he could fight as a small HW today and just be 225 lbs.

As a fighter, Jon Jones has my complete and utter respect. As a person, until that video, I didn't have much of an opinion. I thought people were probably trying to read too much into the things Jones said. Now, I realize that the Jones that dropped Machida like a piece of meat is the real Jon Jones. All the humility, the kindness, was just an act that Greg Jackson wanted for his fighter so that Jones would have more fans. More fans = more money. More money for Jones = more  money for Jackson. This is kinda disgusting.

Hmmm...........lost a bit of respect for Jackson here......tell Jones to check on Machida...thats fine because Jones could be just caught up in the moment and forget that he just choked a guy out but Greg Jackson telling him to check on Machida to ''get some fans'' is pretty cold....!
I't makes me respect a guy like Chris Weidman even more! choked Tom Lawlor out cold and the minute he let go he tried to help Tom wake up......never hurts to show a little class!

Jones should know to do this already.. Having his coach tell him to go check on Lyoto to get fans.. SMH

Now I know why people call Jones fake.. Its a fake act if someone tells you to do something and they do it!

I agree with MegaDave and Jaffa that fake sort of sincerity from Jackson is pretty disgusting but Jones will probably take the most heat from this
